In this role, you'll lead the design and execution of enterprise learning and development strategies that empower employees, strengthen leadership capabilities and drive measurable business outcomes. You'll influence organizational effectiveness through strategic partnerships, data-driven decision making and innovative learning experiences that support the future of work.

What you'll own
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive learning and development strategy aligned with Global Payments' business objectives, culture and growth priorities.
  • Partner with senior leaders to identify capability gaps, leadership development opportunities and workforce readiness needs across the organization.
  • Create innovative learning programs that enhance employee performance, leadership effectiveness and career development at all levels.
  • Lead the design, implementation and continuous improvement of leadership development, management training and talent programs.
  • Leverage learning analytics, feedback and performance metrics to measure effectiveness, demonstrate impact and drive continuous improvement.
  • Build strong partnerships with business leaders, HR teams and external learning providers to ensure learning solutions meet evolving organizational needs.
  • Oversee learning technologies, content strategies and delivery methods that create engaging and scalable development experiences.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth that supports employee engagement, retention and organizational success.
What you bring
  • Extensive experience leading learning and development, talent development or organizational effectiveness functions within a complex organization.
  • A proven track record of designing and implementing learning strategies that improve business performance and employee capability.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior executives and drive organizational change.
  • Expertise in leadership development, adult learning principles, performance management and talent development practices.
  • Analytical skills with the ability to evaluate learning effectiveness, interpret workforce data and make evidence-based recommendations.
  • Experience managing learning technology platforms and leveraging digital learning solutions to scale development initiatives.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation and presentation skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
  • A passion for developing people, fostering inclusive growth opportunities and building high-performing teams.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Relevant experience or degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Learning & Development, Business Administration or a related field from an accredited university. Relevant experience in lieu of a degree may be considered.
  • Typically a minimum of 10 years of related professional experience.
  • Minimum of 5-6 years of leadership or people management experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, Education or a related field from an accredited university.
  • Experience leading enterprise-wide learning and leadership development programs.
  • Prior Global Payments, payments, financial services, technology or rapidly evolving business environment experience preferred.
  • Professional certifications in learning and development, talent management, coaching or organizational development are a plus.
