About Daybreak
Daybreak is transforming sleep apnea care through accessible, at-home diagnosis and treatment. By combining technology, clinical care, and patient-centered design, we help patients access effective sleep solutions without the traditional barriers of in-lab testing and fragmented care. As we continue scaling nationwide, we are seeking a strategic and execution-focused Director of Growth Marketing to own and scale our Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) growth engine.
About the Role
Daybreak is looking for a Director of Growth Marketing to own and scale our DTC acquisition and growth strategy. This role will be responsible for driving patient acquisition, optimizing the full marketing funnel, and building scalable, data-driven growth systems that accelerate revenue and market penetration.
This role sits at the intersection of performance marketing, growth strategy, and analytics, with ownership of DTC acquisition, conversion optimization, and lifecycle growth. The ideal candidate is a senior-level performance marketer with deep experience scaling consumer-facing healthcare, digital health, or high-growth subscription businesses. They should be highly analytical, commercially driven, and comfortable owning end-to-end growth outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Own Daybreak’s DTC growth strategy across acquisition, conversion, retention, and reactivation
Lead performance marketing across paid search, paid social, programmatic, and emerging acquisition channels
Optimize full-funnel performance from first touch through booked appointment, diagnosis, and treatment initiation
Build and scale experimentation systems to continuously improve CAC, LTV, ROAS, and conversion rates
Develop forecasting models, attribution frameworks, and reporting dashboards to guide growth decisions
Own lifecycle marketing strategy, including email, SMS, retargeting, and re-engagement campaigns
Drive CRO initiatives across landing pages, funnels, and patient onboarding experiences
Partner closely with product, operations, and clinical teams to improve conversion and the patient experience
Identify, test, and scale new growth channels and partnerships to accelerate patient acquisition
Partner with executive leadership to shape positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategy for DTC audiences
Establish scalable growth processes, testing frameworks, and performance measurement systems
Translate customer, channel, and performance data into actionable growth strategies and recommendations
Qualifications
8+ years of experience in growth marketing, performance marketing, or DTC marketing roles
Proven track record scaling consumer-facing or healthcare DTC businesses
Deep expertise in paid media strategy, funnel optimization, and marketing analytics
Strong financial and analytical skills with experience managing CAC, LTV, ROAS, and payback targets
Experience with CRM, lifecycle marketing, and retention strategies; email/SMS strongly preferred
Demonstrated success operating in fast-paced, high-growth startup environments
Strong cross-functional collaboration experience with product, operations, clinical, and executive stakeholders
Ability to independently develop and execute growth strategies from concept through implementation and optimization
Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias toward experimentation, speed, and execution
Cross-channel growth experience within healthcare or regulated healthcare environments is a strong plus
Why Join Daybreak?
Help redefine access to sleep apnea care through a modern DTC healthcare model
High-impact role with significant ownership of the growth engine
Direct visibility with executive leadership and influence over company strategy
Fast-growing, mission-driven environment focused on improving patient outcomes
