The Director of Global Marketing Capabilities & Operations will play a pivotal role as a member of the Digital Leadership Team equal parts change agent, master orchestrator, analyst, technologist and pragmatic optimist, with exceptional skills in communication and collaboration. To be effective, this leader must have proven success leading a marketing organization within a complex B2B company structure that demands a highly collaborative approach, be able to operate globally and lead a global organization, influence and spark change/progress, work well in matrixed organizations, and be ready to define and drive a strategic vision for the future of marketing capabilities and operations for Arrow Global Components.
This position is fully remote but must be able to travel to an Arrow office location as requested by Arrow leadership
What You Will Be Doing:

  • Define, communicate, and lead the strategy for global marketing capabilities and operations aligned to our overall strategic digital and customer experience vision, north star and OKRs/business outcomes.
  • Run global marketing operations for the Global Components business including defining cross-functional and global/local operating model, ways of working and an approach to collaboration.
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams representing a broad set of marketing domains including performance marketing, email and marketing automation, SEO, content strategy and production, demand generation and lead process management.
  • Incorporate regional voices and a deep understanding of domain-specific needs in marketing solution designs and delivery- including regional, vertical market, business and customer segment.
  • Oversee all aspects of marketing operations, including budgeting, resource allocation and performance management.
  • Identify, design and implement scalable process and systems to optimize marketing efficiency and effectiveness,
  • Define and monitor key performance indicators to measure the success and impact of marketing initiatives and enablement.
  • Continuously track, measure and analyze marketing capability performance, leveraging industry trends, best practices and insights as a key input to both continuous improvement and the future strategy and roadmap.
  • Partner with IT to evaluate, select, implement and adopt marketing technology platforms and tools to enhance marketing capabilities and drive outcomes.
  • Prioritize changes, features, requirements and experiments for all marketing capabilities - inclusive of process, tech and data based on the strategy, continuous discovery and customer/user listening, desired outcomes, and an evaluation of both tech and operational impacts, and business and customer value.
  • Partner closely across the digital organization and beyond including global and regional business stakeholders brand and corporate marketing, customer experience and design, product management, engineering, operations and sales to promote and drive understanding and adoption of new/changed marketing capabilities including utilization of martech platforms, tools and processes.
  • Set strategic direction for and lead, manage, coach and mentor a cohesive, collaborative, high performing team of marketing professionals.


What we are looking for:

  • 12+ years of experience of progressively increasing marketing leadership experience.
  • Experience in large complex global B2B environment, B2B industrial preferred.
  • eCommerce and online sales / demand generation and account-based capabilities experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven track record of balancing global scale and local relevancy in marketing capabilities and operations, driving marketing transformation and improving operational efficiency.
  • Strong understanding of marketing technology landscape and experience implementing marketing automation and sales enablement capabilities.
  • Proven track record managing a team orientation that is customer-centric, learning based, focused on continuous improvement, and grounded in data-based decisions aligned to outcomes and OKRs.
  • Strong reporting and analytics skills with ability to synthesize complex data points into simple business-focused recommendations.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities and collaborate across functions and teams.
  • Effective communicator: A track record of presenting insights and related high priority topics to executives and peers. Comfortable with public speaking and facilitating large group sessions. Clear communicator with ability to simplify and effectively communicate complex concepts.
  • Excellent collaboration skills working with internal and external stakeholders and across both business and technical teams.
  • High degree of personal integrity; culturally sensitive & empathetic.

Annual Hiring Range/Hourly Rate:
$157 700,00 - $250 250,00
Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
