Job Title: Director, Channel Sales & Ecosystem Partnerships
Reports to: Chief Commercial Officer

Why This Role Matters:

Verana Health has created the industry’s most formidable specialty-focused Real-World Data (RWD) engine. This role is at the heart of our next phase of growth. As the Director of Channel Sales & Ecosystems Partnerships, you won't just be managing partners; you will be the architect of an ecosystem that delivers high-quality, longitudinal data across Oncology, Ophthalmology, Urology, and Neurology. By scaling our reach through strategic partners—including CROs, consulting firms, and technology platforms—you will directly accelerate the pace of clinical innovation and improve patient outcomes on a global scale.

What You Get to Do:

Architect the Ecosystem: Advance the company’s partner programs to the next level including managing a high-performance channel strategy that leverages Verana’s therapeutic breadth.
Drive Revenue through Leverage: Identify, recruit, and manage a portfolio of high-value partners to meet and exceed indirect sales targets.
Enable Partner Success: Act as the primary evangelist for Verana’s data assets, creating "Partner-in-a-Box" resources and training programs that empower partners to sell Verana effectively.
Navigate Complex Deals: Lead negotiations for data-sharing, white-labeling, and integrated service agreements with top-tier global CROs and data aggregators.
Establish Partner GTM Strategies: Drive new partner technology and data strategies while collaborating with Product to fuel future revenue growth.
Collaborate Across the Business: Work closely with Product, Marketing, & Legal teams to ensure our partners are trained on Verana’s latest RWD assets, co-promote materials to life sciences customers, & maintain contractual relationships.
Monitor & Optimize: Track channel performance metrics and pipeline health, providing the CCO and executive leadership with clear visibility into partner-led growth.
Manage and Maintain: Cultivate the existing partner relationships and maintain (and renew) the agreements as the business needs evolve.

Skills and Experience that Will Help You Succeed:

The Post-Merger Mindset: You are comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environment and have a "builder" mentality.
Therapeutic Fluency: You have a deep understanding of the RWD landscape, with specific familiarity in Oncology and at least one other Verana specialty (Ophthalmology, Urology, or Neurology).
The Rolodex: You bring existing, high-level relationships within the "Big 5" CROs and major Life Science consulting firms and data companies (e.g., ZS Associates, IQVIA, Komodo, AWS, Aetion/DataVant).
Technical Savvy: You understand the "plumbing" of health data—specifically tokenization, de-identification (HIPAA), and how data flows through clean rooms and APIs.
Strategic Storytelling: You can take complex, curated datasets and turn them into a compelling commercial narrative that resonates with executive-level stakeholders.

Essential Requirements:

Professional Tenure: 10+ years of experience in Business Development, Channel Sales, or Strategic Partnerships within the HealthTech or Life Sciences data sectors.
Proven Track Record: A history of consistently meeting or exceeding multi-million dollar sales quotas through indirect/channel motions.
Industry Knowledge: Deep expertise in Real-World Data (RWD) & Real-World Evidence (RWE) and how it is utilized across the drug development lifecycle (from feasibility to post-market surveillance).
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
Travel: Ability to travel as needed (approx. 25%) to partner sites and industry conferences to represent the Verana Health brand and differentiated capabilities.

Final note:

You do not need to match every listed expectation to apply for this position. Here at Verana, we know that diverse perspectives foster the innovation we need to be successful, and we are committed to building a team that encompasses a variety of backgrounds, experiences, and skills.
