T his is a highly visible, high-impact role at the center of leadership, strategy, and execution-driving operational excellence, AI-enabled transformation, and alignment across a global organization.
We are seeking a Director of Business Operations who combines strong strategic thinking with meticulous execution and leadership. This role partners closely with the SVP and senior leadership team to shape priorities, accelerate execution, and drive business performance at scale.
Key Responsibilities :
  • Strategic Leadership & Execution : Partner with the SVP of STPG and leadership team to drive critical initiatives, business transformation, and operating cadence aligned to Micron's priorities
  • AI-Driven Business Transformation : Identify and deploy AI- and automation-based solutions to transform core business processes, improve decision velocity, and enable scalable, data-driven operations . Drive adoption of AI tools and agentic workflows across planning, reporting, and execution cycles
  • Operational Excellence : Lead and optimize core business operations to improve execution speed, organizational efficiency, and overall performance
  • Executive Communication & Engagement : Drive executive communications including reviews, staff meetings, quarterly offsites and organization-wide updates
  • Financial Planning & Oversight : Manage expense planning in alignment with product roadmaps; partner with Finance on forecasting, reporting, and performance analysis
  • Workforce Planning and operational metrics: Drive headcount planning and execution with HR and Finance to align resources with business strategy and approved workforce plans . Establish and operationalize metrics, dashboards, and reporting frameworks to enable transparency and data-driven decision-making
  • Continuous Improvement : Assess and enhance operational processes to strengthen effectiveness and ensure delivery in alignment with business goals . Identify opportunities and drive initiatives for business process, systems and tools opportunities

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Finance , or relate d field
  • 10+ years of experience in the semiconductor industry
  • Proven ability to translate strategy into execution through leadership and innovation
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience managing multiple priorities in fast-paced environments

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with AI, automation, and emerging technologies
  • Background in strategic planning and operational execution
  • Track record leading global, cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational discipline

The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:
$159,000.00 - $358,000.00 a year
Additional compensation may include benefits, bonuses and equity.
Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base pay for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training. The pay scale is subject to change depending on business needs. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
