Director of Business Development NA main tasks:
•    Hiring, training and coaching team of sales professionals to deliver pipeline from strategic opportunity creation activities with target accounts. 
•    Introduce and lead Strategic BDRs who are experienced opportunity creators and begin to drive these best practices across the entire team.
•    Actively participate with BDRs on customer discussions to provide added messaging, qualification and support to drive to Stage 3 opportunity.
•    Defines and sets opportunity creation strategy for team while working closely with direct reports to ensure proper implementation, follow-up and follow-through of strategy. 
•    Work closely with Marketing and Sales leaders on development and execution of campaigns. 
•    Manages the tracking, reporting and analysis of all opportunities, pipeline and bookings. 

Job purpose:

Provides leadership and direction through managers/senior managers.

 Is accountable for the performance and results of multiple diverse teams.

 Organization function within a country/region, Division or small/medium sized Business Unit.

 Executes organization function/business unit plans and contributes to the development of organization function/business unit strategy for area of responsibility.

 Decisions are guided by regional/division/sector strategy and priorities.

Responsibilities:

  • Leads through subordinate managers, often over multiple diverse teams; contributes to the development of organization function/division long-term strategy and develops annual business plans to ensure alignment

Accountabilities:

  • Directs the resolution of highly complex or unusual business problems applying advanced analytical thought and judgment
  • Negotiates and influences the opinions of others at the senior executive level and in external organizations; exercises sensitivity to the audience
