Gravitee is a 2025 Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ Leader, on a mission to govern the world’s intelligence.

We deliver the industry’s most advanced platform for Any API, Any Event, and Any AI Agent, trusted by global leaders like Michelin, Roche, and Blue Yonder.

Why Gravitee?

  • The Mission: We are bridging the gap between traditional tech and the new frontier of AI Security.

  • The Momentum: We combine the credibility of a market leader with the high-octane speed of a startup.

  • The DNA: We hire "Hold Nothing Back" individuals - passionate professionals who want to redefine how the world interacts with technology.

The Role

Gravitee is looking for a Director of Creative to define how our brand is seen in the market and help establish us as the leader in API Management, Event Streaming and AI Governance.

Reporting to the VP of Marketing, you’ll own our creative vision and bring it to life across every touchpoint. Working closely with Product Marketing, Digital and GTM, you’ll turn complex technical ideas into distinctive campaigns, content and brand experiences that drive awareness, demand and commercial impact.

This is a genuine player-coach role. You’ll be hands-on across concepting, writing, art direction and design while leading external agencies and building a small in-house creative function over time. You’ll also use AI tools to speed up ideation and production without compromising quality.

We’re looking for someone who has built or repositioned a brand, understands how to tell compelling stories in complex technology markets, and knows how great creative contributes to business growth.

What You’ll Be Doing

At Gravitee, impact isn’t abstract - it’s visible and global. In this role, you will own:

Category Creation & Narrative
  • Lead the creative expression of a new category, turning a bold market position into a story, a brand world, and campaigns that make it famous.

  • Partner with Product Marketing to translate positioning and messaging into emotionally resonant, distinctive creative across the funnel.

  • Develop the big creative ideas and brand platforms that differentiate Gravitee and earn attention in a crowded technical market.

Brand & Creative Direction
  • Own and evolve Gravitee’s visual identity, design system, and tone of voice, and uphold a consistently high quality bar.

  • Set the creative standard across web, product, campaigns, events, social, and sales, ensuring everything looks and feels unmistakably Gravitee.

  • Act as the guardian of the brand, balancing creative ambition with commercial impact.

Hands-On Craft & Production
  • Stay hands-on in the work: concept, write, art-direct, design, and oversee the production of video, campaign, web, and brand creative.

  • Roll up your sleeves to deliver standout assets yourself, not just brief and review them.

  • Use AI tools to move from idea to finished work faster, raising both the volume and the quality of creative output.

Team & Agency Leadership
  • Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing in-house creative team across design, content, and video.

  • Select, brief, and direct external agencies, freelancers, and production partners to extend the team’s capacity and capability.

  • Run a clear intake and prioritisation process so creative is a strategic partner to the business, not a request queue.

Cross-Functional Partnership & Impact
  • Partner with Digital and GTM to ensure creative drives demand, pipeline, and conversion, not just brand awareness.

  • Define how creative effectiveness is measured and use the data to make the work sharper over time.

  • Collaborate across Marketing, Sales, and Product to keep the brand and narrative consistent at every touchpoint.

Your impact will be visible, measurable, and global.

Essential Skills
  • Proven experience building out a new category (or repositioning a company into one) and leading the creative that made it land in the market.

  • A player-coach: genuinely hands-on in the craft and a proven manager of both internal teams and external agencies, freelancers, and production partners.

  • A standout portfolio spanning brand, campaign, video, and digital, with craft and originality at its core.

  • 7+ years in creative roles, including 3+ years leading creative teams, ideally in B2B SaaS or technical/developer brands.

  • Strong narrative and storytelling instinct: able to turn complex, technical products into clear, emotionally resonant stories.

  • AI-native creative: hands-on experience using AI tools to accelerate concepting, production, and iteration without compromising quality.

  • Commercially minded, comfortable in a fast-paced scale-up, and able to connect creative work to pipeline and brand outcomes.

  • Excellent communication skills and a track record of strong cross-functional collaboration.

Who Thrives Here

Our growth is powered by people who bring passion to their craft, professionalism to their execution, and a commitment to excellence. You’ll thrive here if you:

  • Care deeply about high-quality output and brand clarity.

  • Are curious, adaptable, and energized by the fast-moving AI landscape.

  • Take full ownership of your projects from concept to completion.

  • Value a culture of openness, collaboration, and constant evolution.

Bonus Points: Experience in SaaS, AI-enabled systems, or open-source communities, but a "growth mindset" and curiosity matter most.
