About Tava Health

At Tava Health, we believe mental health care should be as accessible and stigma-free as a checkup. We're reimagining the entire experience: from how people find a therapist to how providers deliver care, so more individuals can get the support they need, when they need it.

We’re a fast-growing team on a bold mission: to make high-quality mental health care available to everyone. If you’re passionate about using technology to solve meaningful problems and create lasting change, we’d love to meet you.

About the Role

We are looking for an exceptional Head of Brand Marketing to define, steward, and amplify our brand across every touchpoint. This is a senior leadership role for a creative and strategic thinker who can operate at the intersection of storytelling, design, and go-to-market execution. You will own the full brand experience, from our identity to how the world perceives us.

Reporting directly to the SVP of Marketing, you will lead a multidisciplinary team and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure our brand is consistent, compelling, and impactful to both commercial and consumer audiences.

Responsibilities

Brand Strategy: Develop and install a comprehensive brand strategy that aligns with company vision, business objectives, and competitive positioning. Define where the brand needs to go, establish measurable brand goals, and build/lead the roadmap to get there.

Company Identity: Own the evolution of our corporate identity - who we are, how we differentiate and compete, and how we show up in the market - including logo, color systems, typography, iconography, and all visual standards, ensuring it reflects who we are and resonates with our audience at every stage of company growth.

Messaging Platforms: Build and maintain a cohesive messaging architecture that clearly communicates our value proposition, differentiators, and narrative across all audiences, channels, and use cases.

Voice, Tone & Style: Evolve our brand voice and tone guidelines, ensuring consistent and authentic communication across all written and verbal content - from marketing copy to customer emails and webinars to customer/partner collateral, pitch decks, thought leadership, press releases, and executive communications.

Persona Development: Lead the research and development of detailed buyer, user, and audience personas. Ensure all brand and marketing efforts are grounded in a deep understanding of who we're speaking to and what motivates them.

Product Marketing: Partner closely with Product, Sales, and Customer Service to develop positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies for new products, services, and features. Translate complex capabilities into clear, compelling narratives that drive awareness and adoption by customers, partners, providers, and clients.

Thought Leadership & Content Marketing: Build a thought leadership program that positions our executives, subject matter experts, and brand as authoritative voices in the industry. Own the editorial strategy behind bylines, speaking opportunities, podcasts, webinars, and owned content channels. Utilize PR to establish our brand as a leader in a crowded marketplace. Leverage long- and short-form content to activate our brand and accelerate the adoption and utilization of our commercial, provider, and consumer products and services.

Public Relations: Oversee PR strategy and agency relationships, driving proactive media coverage, managing reactive communications, and ensuring a consistent brand narrative across earned media. Build strong relationships with key journalists, analysts, and industry influencers.

Visual & Marketing Design: Lead the in-house design function responsible for all brand, marketing, sales, and service creative including campaign assets, digital content, sales collateral, product marketing materials, advertising media, pitch decks, internal communications, etc. Champion design quality and creative excellence across the organization.

Events & Conferences: Own the strategy and execution of our event presence, from flagship owned events to third-party conferences and industry summits. Ensure every event touchpoint is a premium, on-brand experience that builds community and drives pipeline.

Competitive Intelligence: Oversee the assembly of intelligence and insights about key competitors and industry participants to help inform the company’s investment strategy and roadmap.

Requirements
  • 10-15 years of brand, marketing, or communications experience, with at least 3–5 years in a senior leadership role

  • Proven track record of building and scaling brand functions at high-growth B2B, B2B2C, or B2C companies

  • Deep expertise in brand strategy, identity, and storytelling, with a strong creative sensibility

  • Experience building, leading, and developing high-performing, multidisciplinary teams (design, content marketing, product marketing, brand management)

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills — you are a storyteller at your core

  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence at the C-suite level and across the organization

  • Data-informed approach to brand building, with experience measuring brand health, awareness, equity, and the quantitative impact of brand marketing investments (e.g., on conversion rate and close rate)

  • Experience hiring/managing agency and contractor relationships (creative, PR, events, WebDev)

  • A collaborative, low-ego leadership style with a bias for action

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in the mental healthcare industry and/or marketing to commercial healthcare organizations, employers, patients, or providers

  • Background in or deep appreciation for design and visual craft

  • Experience building content and thought leadership programs with measurable results

  • Startup or scale-up experience where you've had to do more with less
