About Salesforce

Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn’t a buzzword — it’s a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.

Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You’re in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.

Applications will be accepted until 11/30/2026.Role Overview

As the Director of AgentExchange Security & Labs, you will serve as a strategic architect and operational lead for our global platform innovation program and driving ecosystem security. This is a high-impact Individual Contributor (IC) role designed for a visionary operator who excels at driving cross-functional alignment without direct reporting authority.

You will be responsible for guiding matrixed teams to own the end-to-end lifecycle of Labs solutions and Security Review operational processes—from identifying critical market gaps to scaling adoption across the Trailblazer ecosystem. A core focus of this role is modernizing our ecosystem operating model by embedding AI-assisted workflows across roadmapping, data analysis, and security review processes, while acting as a critical business stakeholder for AgentExchange partner security.

Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Guidance & Ecosystem Governance
  • Multi-Year Roadmap Advisory: Set and champion the 2–3 year strategic vision for the Labs portfolio, ensuring close alignment with core corporate initiatives and platform releases.

  • Executive GM Partnership: Act as a strategic advisor to Cloud GMs and Product Management teams on Labs investment strategies, retirements, and how the portfolio drives ecosystem value.

  • Cross-Functional Influence: Build and maintain highly durable, collaborative partnerships across matrixed organizations, including Legal, Product Security, Marketing, Solution Engineering, and Trailblazer Community teams.

Security Review Program & Operations
  • Product Security Partnership: Act as the primary operational liaison to the Product Security team to co-design ecosystem security programs, review methodologies, and compliance frameworks.

  • Escalation Management: Serve as the designated lead for high-priority partner security escalations, unblocking technical reviews and resolving critical vulnerabilities with executive stakeholders.

  • Commercial Fee Architecture: Own the business and operational strategy for the Security Review fee structure, balancing ecosystem growth with program cost-recovery objectives.

  • Ecosystem Security Guardrails: Partner deeply with Product Managers and Product Security to optimize the technical baseline, significantly reducing the cycle time for complex ISV and Labs solutions to clear the AgentExchange Security Review.

AI-Accelerated Program Architecture
  • AI Tooling & Automation Strategy: Architect and own the AgentExchange Security & Labs AI-tooling roadmap to automate highly repetitive operational processes and scale ecosystem programs.

  • Advanced Content Automation: Lead the strategy for leveraging generative AI to build "Content-in-a-Box" deployment kits (including demo scripts, technical blog posts, and enablement decks), maintaining strict brand voice while shortening go-to-market timelines.

Data-Driven Insights & Reporting
  • Executive Narratives: Synthesize complex data regarding program health—such as install rates, user reviews, security posture, failure reasons, and platform adoption—into compelling, executive-level health reports for senior leadership.

  • Data Synthesis at Scale: Direct the harmonization of large, disparate datasets into clear, actionable, executive-ready "sources of truth" dashboards.

  • Strategic Lifecycle Actions: Translate ecosystem telemetry into definitive operational recommendations, such as sunsetting underperforming solutions or doubling down on trending technical categories.

Ecosystem Engagement & Thought Leadership
  • Public Representation: Present as a trusted platform expert at major community events and conferences (e.g., Dreamforce, World Tours, Community Dreamin’ events), demonstrating the "Art of the Possible" using Labs solutions.

  • Demand Generation Strategy: Coordinate with Marketing teams to drive visibility, organic demand, and community engagement for high-impact Labs solutions via social channels and the Trailblazer network.

Required Experience & Qualifications
  • 10+ Years of Leadership: Extensive experience in program management, technical product management, or GTM strategy within a high-growth SaaS enterprise.

  • Proven Influence Without Authority: Documented success leading massive, cross-functional matrixed initiatives and aligning executive stakeholders up to the SVP/EVP level without direct reports.

  • Security Program Experience: Strong background navigating complex software security reviews, managing high-stakes client/partner escalations, or designing program operational structures.

  • AI & Automation Fluency: Practical, hands-on experience embedding LLM/AI workflows into business operational workflows to compress cycle times or scale organizational output, backed by measurable lift metrics.

  • Salesforce Ecosystem Expertise: Deep architectural and conceptual familiarity with the Salesforce platform (Admin, Developer, and Architect personas), AgentExchange, and the Trailblazer ecosystem.

  • Preferred Certifications: Salesforce Certified Administrator, Platform Developer I, and Platform Developer II.
