The Digital Media & Journalist Intern will create engaging content, manage social media, cover events, and develop partnerships to boost revenue.

We are seeking a Digital Media & Journalist Intern who can craft compelling stories while proactively sourcing partnerships to strengthen our revenue side. This role combines creativity, journalism, and strategy, giving you the opportunity to grow your skills in storytelling, social media management, and partnership development.
- Content Creation:
- Write captivating stories, articles, and posts tailored to Uliza Links’ and our other brands audience.
- Create engaging and shareable content for social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn).
- Social Media Management:
- Develop and schedule content calendars for social media.
- Monitor trends to keep content relevant and engaging.
- Respond to audience interactions and grow our online community.
- Event Coverage:
- Attend and cover events (e.g., concerts, company launches, mall activations) for real-time content creation.
- Capture high-quality photos and videos for immediate posting or future campaigns.
- Partnership Development:
- Proactively identify and build partnerships with event organizers, companies, and malls to create revenue-generating opportunities.
- Pitch creative paid content ideas tailored to client needs.
- Collaborate with clients to execute successful paid campaigns.
- Analytics and Reporting:
- Track social media performance and generate insights to improve engagement.
- Provide feedback on successful campaigns and suggest content improvements.
- Journalistic Flair: You have a talent for storytelling and can craft compelling narratives that capture attention.

Requirements
- Proven experience in writing stories, articles, or blog posts (please attach samples).
- Familiarity with social media tools and strategies.
- Willingness to attend events and work on the ground for coverage.
- Basic photography or video editing skills are a plus.
- Ability to use Canva , Capcut and Wordpress
- Ability to create reels with a smart phone in the office
- Ability to source for trending news that align with our brand and post consistently
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for partnership development.
