Responsibilities
- Design and develop responsive email templates and campaigns across multiple brands, ensuring visual consistency across devices and email clients.
- Collaborate with marketing teams on calendar planning, messaging strategy, segmentation, and personalization to translate campaign concepts into successful designs that drive engagement and conversions.
- Develop a deep understanding of our products, audience, and culture.
- Map customer journeys across key stages, from awareness through loyalty.
- Code and troubleshoot email templates, ensuring compatibility across major email clients and adherence to accessibility standards.
- Implement and maintain list hygiene best practices, suppression management, and compliance with email regulations.
- Analyze email performance metrics including open rates, click‑through rates, deliverability scores, and engagement trends to provide data‑driven recommendations for improvement.
- Build and maintain a scalable email design system and template library that supports efficiency while allowing for brand‑specific creative expression.
- Provide technical guidance on email infrastructure decisions and work cross‑functionally with IT, data teams, and email service providers to optimize email operations.
- May perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum Education and/or Equivalent Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in graphic design, marketing, communications, or related fields, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience in email marketing, demonstrating both design expertise and technical deliverability management.

- Aptitude with visual design and brand storytelling.
- Proven portfolio demonstrating email design work across multiple brands or campaigns.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts.
- Experience with email design tools including Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar platforms.
- Proficiency with email service platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Klaviyo, Iterable, or similar.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret deliverability reports, authentication records, and campaign performance metrics.
- Committed to staying current with email industry trends and evolving requirements.
- Experience in the cycling, outdoor sports, or consumer goods industry (preferred).
- Experience with A/B testing methodologies and data‑driven design optimization (preferred).
- Strong proficiency in HTML/CSS for email, with understanding of email client limitations and rendering differences (preferred).
- Excellent project management and organizational skills to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously (preferred).
- WORKING CONDITIONS
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally approximately 10% of the time.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- This role is based in a North American SRAM office location: Colorado Springs, Indianapolis, or Chicago.
- The benefits for this position include group health insurances including medical, dental, vision, and ancillary plans. As well as 401k match, life insurance, long term disability, and paid time off.
- Salary range is $70,000 + up to 40% based on skills and experience level. This position is eligible for an annual corporate bonus based on company and individual performance.
