DescriptionWe are currently seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our growing, dynamic team. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of our DevOps and DevSecOps initiatives, leveraging the latest technologies and industry trends. You'll work closely with Development, QA, and Product teams to establish automation best practices within our AWS environment. Tools you’ll use include Ansible, Jenkins, Kubernetes, ECS, KMS, MSK, Terraform, and more. A background in security—especially with SOC and PCI compliance—is a strong plus.
Responsibilities- Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible.
- Develop and maintain Dockerfiles and Helm Charts to deploy applications on Kubernetes.
- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Groovy, and Ansible, incorporating automated security testing and best practices.
- Integrate and maintain security scanning tools (e.g., SAST, DAST, SCA) within CI/CD workflows.
- Automate security controls and compliance checks across cloud and on-prem infrastructure.
- Support security assessments, vulnerability management, and penetration testing efforts.
- Use Jira and Confluence to track tasks, document procedures, and manage project workflows.
- Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot deployment issues and promote secure coding standards.
- Participate in incident response activities related to security events.
- 3+ years of hands-on DevOps experience, including infrastructure automation and CI/CD pipeline development.
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Ruby, or Bash.
- Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible preferred; Puppet or Chef preferred).
- Practical knowledge of Kubernetes and containerization best practices.
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Groovy, and Git, with a focus on integrating security throughout the SDLC.
- Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred) and modern deployment practices (IaC, Helm, Docker).
- Familiarity with security practices and compliance standards such as SOC 2, PCI DSS, and ISO 27001.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- High level of initiative, integrity, and the ability to operate independently or as part of a team.

The base salary range for this position is $140,000 – $170,000 USD per year, depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. Salary information is provided per state regulations in CA, CO, CT, MD, NV, NY, RI, and WA.
