Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled AWS DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure on AWS, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security. You will work closely with development teams to streamline our software development lifecycle through automation and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS/EKS, VPC, IAM, and CloudFormation
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline, or GitHub Actions
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK
  • Containerize applications using Docker and orchestrate deployments with Kubernetes or Amazon ECS
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions using CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar tools
  • Implement security best practices including IAM policies, security groups, encryption, and compliance requirements
  • Automate deployment processes and infrastructure provisioning using scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell
  • Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and reliability
  • Manage version control systems and branching strategies using Git
  • Implement disaster recovery and backup strategies
  • Document infrastructure architecture, processes, and procedures

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor;s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud architecture
  • Strong experience with CI/CD tools and practices
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK)
  • Experience with containerization (Docker) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, ECS)
  • Experience with version control systems, particularly Git
  • Understanding of networking concepts including VPC, DNS, load balancing, and firewalls
  • Knowledge of security best practices and compliance requirements

Compensation, Benefits and Duration

Minimum Compensation: USD 37,000
Maximum Compensation: USD 132,000
Compensation is based on actual experience and qualifications of the candidate. The above is a reasonable and a good faith estimate for the role.
Medical, vision, and dental benefits, 401k retirement plan, variable pay/incentives, paid time off, and paid holidays are available for full time employees.
This position is not available for independent contractors
