Job Description Summary
We are seeking a Developer Platform Engineer to help accelerate software delivery across Raymond James' technology organization. In this role, you will design, build, and optimize automated deployment workflows that support our development teams and improve system reliability.You’ll work closely with engineering teams to streamline integration and release processes, implement infrastructure automation, and lead initiatives that enhance deployment velocity and CI/CD maturity.
Job Description
This position follows our hybrid-friendly schedule, so you get the best of both worlds – flexibility and collaboration. In office days will be 3 per week averaging 12 days per month in our St. Petersburg, FL Corporate Office or Denver, CO Office.

Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain enterprise CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and automation frameworks
Architect and implement continuous deployment strategies across environments
Optimize build performance and deployment reliability across diverse technology stacks
Develop infrastructure automation solutions using Ansible
Establish monitoring and alerting for deployment workflows
Collaborate with engineering teams to improve integration and release processes
Lead efforts to enhance deployment velocity and system reliability
Participate in on-call rotation (every 7 weeks; limited after-hours coverage)
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in CI/CD engineering or related roles
Deep expertise in CI/CD pipeline design and implementation in enterprise environments
Strong development skills for Jenkins automation, including Pipeline as Code and Shared Libraries
Ability to analyze CI/CD data and present findings via dashboards and reports
Proficiency in infrastructure automation (Ansible strongly preferred)
Advanced Git workflows and branching strategy implementation
Experience with container deployment and orchestration
Expert-level troubleshooting of build, test, and deployment systems
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with multi-language build systems (.NET, Java, JavaScript, etc.)
Familiarity with Azure DevOps Server, SonarQube, JFrog, and CI/CD metrics tools
Background in enterprise environments or financial services
