WE ARE CURRENTLY SEEKING STUDENTS TO GAIN INTERNSHIP CREDIT FOR SPRING, SUMMER, FALL 2024. THIS IS A CREDIT-ONLY INTERNSHIP with a STIPEND upon completion. 

We are looking for an intern to assist our Design Department with day to day operations in our office. This position is for motivated individuals who are hands on when it comes to their work. This will be a great opportunity to learn about multiple areas in the fashion accessory industry. We will work together to build skills to help with your future career goals!

 What you’ll learn at Goldbug, Inc:

We’ll start off by teaching you some basics in Adobe Illustrator, as well as our company standards for fashion and technical illustrations. Depending on your skill level, you will help us create illustrations for our digital libraries, line sheets, planograms, and/or tech packs.

How to evaluate Lab Dips, and how to enter approvals/comments into our Color Trackers and PLM system.

How we keep our Fabric, Trim and Sample libraries organized. This includes learning the difference between certain textiles and trims, as well as product categories.

Depending on the season, you’ll assist in researching market trends in order to help create our internal trend presentations for our Product Managers, Sales Team & Retailers.

How to clip and lightly edit images in Adobe Photoshop, as well as how to set up trend boards using Adobe Illustrator.

What we need from you:

Basic knowledge in:

Mac/PC operation

Outlook

Adobe Acrobat, Illustrator & Photoshop

General knowledge of garment construction, silhouettes, color ways, and fabrication.

Ability to take direction and work independently, or within a group.

Time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Ability to be flexible and show initiative in a change-oriented company.

 

Education Required:

Currently enrolled in a college with a credit-based internship program.

Minimum Work Experience Required:

0+ years in a Design-Related field. (Accessories, Apparel, Costume, Graphics, Production, Technical, Textile, etc.
