Job Description

As a Deputy Manager for Procurement, you will manage day-to-day transactional suppliers and oversee the procurement process and team, ensuring best practices are followed.

You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day transactional needs for the US supplier base. You will work closely with the Procurement Manager and Head of Finance to ensure routine operations are maintained to a high standard. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to develop processes that support supplier performance monitoring.

This role is eligible for inclusion in the Company’s hybrid work-from-home policy.

The salary range for this position is $70,000 – $80,000 annually.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in a procurement function.
  • Experience in supplier management and negotiations.
  • CIPS qualified at level 4+ or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of procurement principles.
  • Experience in benchmarking and negotiating VFM.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to supervise and develop team members.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools and SharePoint.

Additional Information

  • Facilitating supplier reviews and ensuring best available service.
  • Reviewing and re-negotiating existing catalogue prices quarterly.
  • Initiating local benchmarking activity and sourcing alternatives.
  • Hiring, develop, and manage the performance of local Procurement Administrators.
  • Supporting management with the roll-out of new processes.
  • Ensuring all supplier performance issues are logged and escalated.
  • Providing reports and feedback to the Procurement Manager.
