Job DescriptionAs a Senior Human Resources Officer, you will join our global team to deliver essential support to our operations, employees, and stakeholders.
The US Human Resources (HR) department is responsible for the lifecycle of our people from pre-hire to exiting the business and beyond.
In this role, you will manage the full employee lifecycle in a fast- paced environment, with a strong emphasis on ensuring legal compliance within US employment law. You will utilize data to inform HR strategies, track HR operations, and assess the effectiveness of HR initiatives. You will be responsible for managing employee relations, conducting HR audits, supporting managers with disciplinary and investigative processes, overseeing benefits and leave administration, and leading HR projects and change management initiatives.
Your positive attitude and people-oriented approach will enable to connect with employees and stakeholders on a day-to-day basis while upholding the Company’s processes and policies.
The salary range for this role is $80,000 to $92,000 annually.
Qualifications- In-depth knowledge of US employment legislation, regulations, and best practices, with the capability to interpret and apply legal requirements effectively in various scenarios.
- Demonstrated experience in managing employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary procedures, and formal complaint and investigations, with a focus on fostering a positive workplace environment.
- Proven experience in contributing to the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding, with a strong emphasis on legal compliance at each stage.
- Experience in leading HR projects or initiatives, particularly those related to compliance and Human Resources Operations.
- Experience in utilizing data analytics to inform HR strategies, track Human Resources Operations, and assess the effectiveness of HR initiatives, enabling data-driven decision-making.
- Ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail while working to tight deadlines.
- Experience in leading workshops and training sessions to promote Human Resources strategies.
- Proven ability to draft, review, and update HR policies and procedures, ensuring they are compliant with current local employment regulations and best practices. Ability to interpret complex legal and regulatory requirements and translate them into clear, actionable HR policies and guidance for managers.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Ability to communicate professionally, sensitively and discreetly both verbally and in writing.
- Experience partnering with globally distributed teams and ensuring alignment with company procedures and culture.
- Managing all HR processes throughout the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, and offboarding in a fast-paced environment
- Conducting regular HR audits to ensure compliance with legal requirements and internal policies.
- Collaborating with various stakeholders, including management and employees, to foster positive relationships and address HR-related concerns.
- Supporting managers in employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary procedures, and HR investigations to support a positive and compliant workplace culture.
- Ensure that HR policies are clearly communicated to employees and managers, and provide training where necessary to ensure understanding and correct application.
- Overseeing the administration and management of all employee benefits and leave of absence requests.
- Utilizing data analytics to inform HR strategies, track HR operations, and assess the effectiveness of HR initiatives, facilitating data-driven decision-making.
- Ensuring legal compliance by adhering to all relevant US employment laws and regulations, providing guidance and support to management and staff on compliance matters. Facilitating effective communication between HR and other departments to ensure alignment on HR initiatives and operational goals.
- Maintaining high delivery of service to employees.
- Coordinating with the global offices to ensure consistency.
- Working with the wider team to ensure legal and Company practices are completed.
