Hybrid — Denver, CO
Full-time
Our client is seeking a Deployment Strategist to define scalable deployment patterns, delivery playbooks, and post-sale success mechanisms that maximize customer ROI and compress time-to-value.
This role shapes how proven deployments are repeated and how they are communicated to the market—through blogs, white papers, use cases, customer stories, and reference materials. You will turn real deployment insights into clear, repeatable patterns and feed them into the organization’s execution systems, where AI helps produce consistent, field-grounded content that improves outcomes and strengthens go-to-market motion.
You will operate as a senior advisor focused on business value and opportunity cost—helping shift conversations from “can we do this?” to “should we do this?” for customers and partners. This role does not modify core platform behavior; platform changes flow through established product and release processes.
This is a hands-on, high-ownership role with 25–50% travel for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments and wants to scale customer value through repeatable, field-tested execution.
What You’ll DoDefine and refine scalable deployment patterns and playbooks that reduce friction, improve repeatability, and maximize customer ROI
Serve as a trusted advisor to customer and partner executives, traveling 25–50% to work alongside them and prioritize opportunities based on impact and constraints
Own success frameworks and KPIs that define what “value delivered” means across deployments and drive adoption and expansion
Partner with field engineering, product, engineering, and commercial teams to translate deployment learnings into scalable delivery systems
Shape external messaging by producing field-grounded reference materials (blogs, white papers, use cases, customer stories, playbooks) using AI to accelerate high-quality output
Identify and eliminate failure modes and friction points across delivery
Operate in an AI-native way—leveraging AI tools to synthesize insights, build reusable artifacts, and accelerate iteration while ensuring real-world accuracy
In your first 3 months, you will have:
Taken ownership of at least one customer deployment and delivered measurable value
Built and shipped at least one repeatable deployment pattern or playbook
Produced at least one field-grounded reference artifact that improves adoption
In your first year, you will be:
Driving measurable improvements in customer ROI, time-to-value, and deployment repeatability
Establishing durable success KPIs and scalable deployment systems
Operating as a trusted executive advisor who improves decision quality and expands pipeline conversion
7+ years in systems architecture, technical delivery strategy, customer success engineering, deployment leadership, consulting, or similar
Strong ability to quantify ROI and business value and guide executive decision-making
Comfortable operating across infrastructure, security, networking, data systems, and applied AI
Strong operational discipline with experience designing playbooks and success KPIs
Proficient with modern technical and analytical tooling (cloud/edge concepts, APIs, BI dashboards, structured documentation)
Clear communicator who can translate complex deployments into crisp patterns and compelling narratives
Ownership mindset with a focus on outcomes
Building repeatable deployment strategies that scale across customers and partners
Producing high-quality, field-grounded enablement materials that accelerate adoption
Strong technical background in edge or distributed systems (Linux, Docker/Kubernetes, networking/security, data pipelines)
Experience working with applied AI in real environments
AI-native operating experience—using AI tools to accelerate synthesis and delivery while applying strong judgment
Base salary range: $170,000–$215,000 (based on location and experience)
Meaningful equity participation
Comprehensive benefits package, which may include medical, dental, vision, retirement plan with company match, flexible PTO, parental leave, commuter benefits, and relocation or visa support where applicable
