Position Overview

Our Deal Operations team is growing worldwide - become a part of the Deal Development AMER team and support our Enterprise Sales Team on complex sales opportunities from deal development to deal closure. This role works with our top tier enterprise customers, sales teams and internal business partners. This position is an excellent opportunity for future career advancement in sales, legal, finance or Management.

If you have experience acting as a key enabler of deal formation and execution, increasing Sales efficiency and effectiveness, and can be an “organizational hub” during deal management, ensuring involvement and buy-in from the right stakeholders at the right time – then we would love to hear from you!

This is a hybrid position with some work from home opportunities. The target locations include:

Boston, MA

Denver, CO

Montreal, QC, Canada

Responsibilities

  • Main point of contact, trusted advisor and deal advocate throughout the Research, Proposal, Deal Negotiation, Bid Management and Deal Closure phase of high touch deals for Enterprise Accounts (although not limited to them)

  • Establish, maintain and update the project plans with defined timelines. Guide the deal team in creation of a supportable, rationale deal for both customer and Autodesk

  • Collaborate closely with the extended team in Legal, Finance, Revenue Recognition, Business Models, Order Fulfillment and Operations

  • Bring non-standard business models, operational requirements and risks to the attention of the broader organization, and driving resolution of these issues

  • Have a “hands-on” approach to complex situations or escalations and with work cross-functional teams to resolve and shepherd deal through appropriate approvals and ensure compliance throughout the process

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3+ years’ experience in a Deal desk role ideal. Sales support, sales operations or sales contracts specialist experience also relevant

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience

  • Strong business acumen, influencing the decision process in terms of maximizing revenue and profit, customer satisfaction and sound business practices

  • Strong presentation, communication and collaboration skills with a results-orientated mentality

  • Ability to Execute quickly and adapt to a fast-paced, constantly changing environment

  • Travel <10%, occasional travel may be required

  • Experience with sales support, deal operations or similar transferrable experiences

Preferred Qualifications

  • Business, Administration, Finance, or similar academic studies

  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic team player

  • Understanding of sales processes, revenue recognition including structuring of a deal, contract management and revenue forecasting

  • Analytical, solution-orientated and customer-focused, both internally and externally

  • Experience in the software / IT industry, ideally with SaaS / cloud technologies

  • Proficiency using CRM and CPQ tools such as Salesforce.com and Anaplan

Responsabilités

  • Interlocuteur principal, conseiller de confiance et défenseur de la transaction tout au long des phases de recherche, de proposition, de négociation, de gestion des offres et de conclusion des contrats pour les comptes d’entreprise (sans s’y limiter)

  • Établir, maintenir et mettre à jour les plans de projet avec des échéanciers définis. Guider l’équipe chargée de la transaction dans l’élaboration d’une proposition solide et justifiée, tant pour le client que pour Autodesk

  • Collaborer étroitement avec l’équipe élargie des services juridiques, financiers, de comptabilisation des revenus, des modèles économiques, de traitement des commandes et des opérations

  • Signaler à l’ensemble de l’organisation les modèles économiques atypiques, les exigences opérationnelles et les risques, et veiller à la résolution de ces problèmes

  • Adopter une approche « sur le terrain » face à des situations complexes ou des escalades, et travailler avec des équipes transversales pour résoudre les problèmes et mener la transaction à bien en passant par les validations appropriées, tout en garantissant la conformité tout au long du processus

Qualifications Minimales

  • Au moins 3 ans d’expérience dans un poste de « Deal Desk » (idéalement). Une expérience en soutien commercial, en opérations commerciales ou en tant que spécialiste des contrats de vente est également pertinente

  • Licence ou expérience équivalente

  • Solide sens des affaires, capable d’influencer le processus décisionnel en vue de maximiser le chiffre d’affaires et les bénéfices, d’assurer la satisfaction client et de garantir des pratiques commerciales saines

  • Excellentes compétences en matière de présentation, de communication et de collaboration, associées à une mentalité axée sur les résultats

  • Capacité à agir rapidement et à s’adapter à un environnement dynamique et en constante évolution

  • Déplacements < 10 % ; des déplacements occasionnels peuvent être requis

  • Expérience en soutien commercial, en gestion des transactions ou expériences transférables similaires

Qualifications Souhaitées

  • Études en commerce, administration, finance ou dans un domaine similaire

  • Motivé(e), enthousiaste et capable de travailler en équipe

  • Compréhension des processus de vente et de la comptabilisation des revenus, y compris la structuration d’une transaction, la gestion des contrats et la prévision des revenus

  • Esprit analytique, orienté vers les solutions et axé sur le client, tant en interne qu’en externe

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $99,000 and $176,660. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, our compensation package may include annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
