About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated Data Science Intern to join our team and help drive data-driven decision-making in the sports industry. This internship will provide hands-on experience in data analysis, machine learning, and predictive modeling, working with real-world sports data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect, clean, and analyze sports-related data from various sources.

  • Develop and implement machine learning models to identify patterns and insights.

  • Assist in building predictive models for player performance, game outcomes, or fan engagement.

  • Create data visualizations and reports to communicate findings to stakeholders.

  • Work with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, analysts, and sports strategists.

  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in sports analytics.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.

  • Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Matplotlib.

  • Familiarity with machine learning libraries such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
