Job Title: Data Analyst - Reporting
Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in gathering requirements from stakeholders, translating business needs into data-driven solutions, and creating insightful reports using Sigma, our reporting platform. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex data insights in a clear and understandable manner. Experience with Snowflake is considered a plus, as it will greatly enhance our data warehousing and analysis capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and objectives, ensuring that reporting deliverables meet business needs.
- Design, develop, and maintain reports and dashboards in Sigma, providing actionable insights to support decision-making processes across the organization.
- Utilize SQL and other data manipulation languages to extract and manipulate data from various sources, including Snowflake.
- Implement and advocate for best practices in data governance, reporting standards, and data integrity within Sigma and other data analysis tools.
- Perform data analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that can influence strategic decisions.
- Actively participate in the evaluation and selection of data analytics tools and processes to improve and streamline reporting capabilities.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of the data warehouse in Snowflake, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or a similar role, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality reports and insights.
- Proficiency in Sigma or similar reporting platforms, with the ability to design and implement complex reports and dashboards.
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with data warehouses, including Snowflake or similar technologies.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to analyze large datasets and generate meaningful insights.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in data modeling, ETL processes, and data visualization techniques is highly desirable.
- A team player with a proactive approach and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
