About the TeamThis small, high-impact analytics team moves fast and uses its technical and business skills to help the business understand user behavior. They do it in an engineered way that scales well as the company continually grows in complexity. The team is highly autonomous, collaborative, fun, and deeply competent—building a stand-out analytics function inside one of the most exciting startups in the data space.
You’ll work primarily with US-based Product Managers, but also partner with Technical Account Managers, Marketing and Field Engineering, and any other team that needs someone to bring technical data skills to bear on a business problem.
About the RoleWe’re hiring a Data Analyst who is curious to use SQL and user analytics to uncover insights that guide product decisions and build dashboards that support the day-to-day processes of the business. The team is highly self-sufficient and continuously expanding its skills into new areas.

Dashboards and reporting: Build intuitive dashboards and trackers in Looker, Mixpanel, and Fullstory; create easy-to-digest visualizations that Product, TAM, and business teams rely on daily
Data modeling and data quality: Build and maintain dbt models that aggregate core product usage data; improve data usability across Product, TAM, and GTM teams; ensure data remains trustworthy using Monte Carlo
Data expertise and best practices: Develop a deep understanding of Monte Carlo’s data, how it is collected, and how it should be interpreted; partner cross-functionally to steward best practices in analytics and product measurement
