Title D365 CE & Power Platform Technical Engineer 

Location Remote, home-based office 

Description 

As a member of the Technical Services department, the Power Platform Engineer will help MCA Connect deliver world class customer service by working with clients to design & develop technical solutions built on Dataverse and Microsoft’s Power Platform. The Power Platform Engineer will work on multiple projects each week and will deliver tasks on-time and on-budget to our clients.  

 Responsibilities 

  • Work with client to define and document functional requirements & solution designs 

  • Design, develop, and deploy technical customizations for clients utilizing Power Automate Flows, C# plugins, JavaScript, Dual Write, and Power Fx 

  • Resolve technical support issues related to Dataverse and Dynamics CE implementations 

  • Manage small projects for client requested Power Apps 

  • Delegate development tasks to offshore resources and manage development team 

  • Build, test and deploy data migrations / integrations  

  • Troubleshoot software, hardware and network infrastructure  

  • Manage project scope, timeline, budget, and project deliverables 

  • Monitor and triage new support cases 

  • Maintain effective customer relationships 

  • Be responsive and provide outstanding customer service 

  • Follow established standards & methodologies 

  • Optimize individual utilization 

  • Continue your professional education by setting specific annual training goals 

Qualifications  

  • 3+ years’ experience solutioning and developing Power Automate Flows 

  • 3+ years’ experience developing C# plugins and JavaScript for Dataverse applications 

  • 3+ years’ experience with Microsoft Dual Write 

  • 3+ years’ experience developing custom Model Driven and Canvas apps on Dataverse   

  • Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills 

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CE or F&O implementations 

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills 

  • Excellent planning and organization skills 

  • Strong customer relationship skills 

  • Ability to establish priorities and work independently 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience 

  • English: fluent 

Desired Qualifications 

  • Relevant Microsoft certifications such as PL-400 or PL-100 

  • Field Service and/or Project Operations experience 

  • 2+ years as a consultant 

  • Exposure to Microsoft‘s Sure Step Methodology
