Position Purpose:

The Home Depot Cybersecurity team is looking to bring on a Senior DevOps Engineer to help protect what matters most to our associates and consumers by securing our sensitive data and critical assets from current and emerging threats.

Job Title Responsibilities

  • Ability to perform risk assessment/analysis in order to Identify potential risks to IT infrastructure /applications in order to assess their impact on business operations.
  • Ability to review, design and potentially develop System Monitoring tools to continually evaluate system performance and availability.
  • Ability to assist with reviewing/analyzing business impacting Incidents in order to identify trends, investigate the cause and eventual resolution.
  • If required, Review, refine, implement, and assist with maintaining disaster recovery and business continuity plans to minimize downtime and data loss.
  • Enforce regular testing of disaster recovery plans and processes to ensure effectiveness and readiness.
  • Work closely with IT teams, management, and other stakeholders to align resiliency strategies with business objectives.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of architecture, processes, procedures, and recovery strategies.
  • Ensure incident response plans our outlined/documented properly to ensure rapid response to IT incidents to minimize impact.
  • Educate/train resiliency practices and procedures.
  • Production Support Assistance

SKILLS

  • Ability to Troubleshoot (Network, Firewalls, OS, applications)
  • Preferred to have experience with IAM Systems (PING/SSO, CyberArk, Venafi, Active Directory/ VDS )
  • Understand Operating systems (windows/Linux) from an administration point of view
  • Experience with Automation and Scripting (python, powershell)
  • Experience with Observability tools ( Wavefront, Looker, Grafana etc); Grafana is a plus.
  • Experience with Cloud/Cloud Native Environments

At The home Depot, Cybersecurity consists of Architecture, Governance, Identity & Access Management, Internal Threat Operations, Issue and Compliance Management, Risk Assessment/Advisory, Security Consulting, Security Operations, Service Optimization and Strategic Planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • 100% Deliver Execution, Plans & Align, Problem Solving - Design automation workflows and capabilities in support of data collection, investigation and incident response Develop threat hunting and data analysis strategy and capabilities Identify and propose new technologies, methodologies and/or approaches to detecting malicious activity Utilize indicators to scope and respond proactively to emerging threats Design, build, configure, maintain and monitor cybersecurity threat defense capabilities and user access management

Travel Requirements:

  • No travel required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

Working Conditions:

  • Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be eighteen years of age or older.
  • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Minimum Education:

  • The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diploma and/or GED.

The pay range for this position is between $120,000 - $160,000
