Voxel is hiring a Customer Solutions Engineer to serve as a technical expert and key partner in the customer onboarding process. In this role, you will support the sales team by assessing customer environments, crafting tailored solutions, and ensuring seamless implementation of Voxel’s platform and integrations. You will also collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Engineering, and Customer Success to deliver value-driven product demos, drive product adoption, facilitate technical assessments, provide guidance on installation/deployment, and own the end-to-end execution of POCs in support of Voxel’s go-to-market strategy.
What You’ll Do
- The primary responsibility is achieving the technical win (vendor selection) while maintaining a strong understanding of competitive solutions and positioning product strengths as required capabilities while setting appropriate traps.
- Serve as the primary technical resource for the sales team, learning about prospective client goals, crafting and demonstrating solutions, and positioning Voxel’s platform for success.
- Own the end-to-end execution of POCs including scoping, planning, deployment, and results measurement.
- Perform technical assessments for new and expanding business by gaining detailed understanding of the customer’s environment, operations, challenges.
- Partner with the Sales team to configure demos that solve prospective customer’s specific challenges to increase the efficiency of the sales process
- Develop and maintain relationships with prospective customers during the sales process across many different cycles
- Ability to accurately explain platform details, installation, and deployment process
- Work closely with Sales, Engineering, and Customer Success teams, serving as a product expert and directing the future of the platform
- Communicate initial and ongoing customer requirements to the Product, Engineering and Sales Team
- Produce technical documentation to assist customers with internal IT and security approvals.
- Coordinate across internal teams (product, engineering, customer success) to deliver on technical promises made during pre-sales.
- Track progress and communicate value realization to stakeholders through clear, data-driven reporting. Develop custom business cases and ROI frameworks in collaboration with the sales team to highlight safety improvements, incident reduction, and operational efficiency gains.
- Deliver insights and reports that translate safety KPIs and CV detections into actionable value for operations, EH&S, and executive stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Project Management, Safety or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in sales engineering, project management, or systems engineering, safety technology integrations
- Ability to quickly learn and understand various camera systems
- Experience project managing large-scale technical integrations cross-functionally
- Experience hiring, training, and managing team members
- Ability to travel to customer sites for more complex installations
- Familiarity with network security technologies including but not limited to: HTTP and web-related technologies, proxies, caches, firewalls, SSL/IPsec, VPN’s
- Expertise with security camera and video surveillance systems
- Familiarity with safety programs, EH&S risk controls, and workplace safety metrics.
- Background in value engineering or business case development for industrial tech.
- GSP, ASP, CSP, PMP, Six Sigma or related certifications are a plus.
