Slate & CRM Solutions Executive (Sales)

About the role 

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Slate & CRM Solutions Executive with deep expertise in Slate and a strong understanding of CRM solutions within higher education. This individual will own revenue growth for our CRM service offerings, leveraging their extensive higher education network to develop opportunities, close deals, and position the company as a premier CRM consulting partner. The ideal candidate combines a proven track record of business development with strong consultative skills, enabling them to identify client needs and design solutions that drive institutional success. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Lead revenue growth for Slate and CRM consulting services through proactive prospecting, lead generation, and strategic relationship-building in higher education. 
  • Build and manage a robust sales pipeline, from initial contact through contract negotiation and closing, consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets. 
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert on Slate and CRM strategies, advising clients on solutions to meet admissions, enrollment, and advancement goals. 
  • Partner with internal teams to design and deliver compelling proposals and solution offerings. 
  • Collaborate with marketing to develop campaigns, events, and content that drive awareness and demand for CRM services. 
  • Represent the organization at higher education conferences, Slate events, and key industry gatherings to strengthen brand visibility and grow the network. 
  • Contribute to overall company growth strategy, helping to define pricing models, sales tactics, and go-to-market strategies for CRM solutions. 
  • Maintain an expert-level understanding of Slate functionality, CRM trends, and higher education technology developments. 

 

Required Qualifications:  

  • 5+ years of sales experience working with Technolutions Slate and other CRM’s in higher education.  
  • 5+ years of experience in sales, revenue generation, or business development for CRM or SaaS solutions, with a track record of exceeding goals. 
  • B2B sales of professional services to include implementation, training, support, advising, and apps. 
  • Established network of higher education leaders, particularly in admissions, enrollment management, Student Success and advancement. 
  • Proven success in identifying opportunities, managing complex sales cycles, and closing large deals. 
  • Strong presentation, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to speak to both executive and technical stakeholders. 
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to drive results independently while collaborating across teams. 
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; Master’s degree preferred. 
  • Ability to travel to client sites and conferences. 

 

Compensation & Benefits 

Our compensation package consists of salary, bonus, and retirement benefits.  On-Target earnings around $250k-$300k + (which include base range $130k-150k plus commission), depending on individual skills and experience.

Note: These benefits are only applicable to full time SIG employees. 

 

 

The listed salary range for this position is indicative and subject to adjustment based on the candidate's unique skills and location. Final compensation will be determined through mutual agreement between the successful candidate and SIG.
