The Creative Project Manager role sits within the Creative Services department at Tinuiti, and is responsible for managing project definition, quality, delivery and profitability of creative assignments. This role will report to the Senior Creative Project Manager, overseeing content projects that touch platforms across the digital landscape: addressable social and digital advertising, Amazon and other retail marketplaces, and email, landing pages and other owned channels.

Creative PMs are a critical component to ensuring that our business runs optimally with cross-department functions at the larger company as well as with external clients and partners. The ideal candidate will have excellent project management skills, the ability to understand and visualize complex processes and project concepts, innovative problem solving skills, and experience leading multi-disciplined teams. Essential Functions

  • Project Definition & Scoping: Have a solid understanding of the creative production process and how the Creative team operates on assignments across each of the media divisions • Define the project approach and scope of creative and strategic assignments, including details on how the work will be done, the timelines, deliverables, staffing and cost estimations. 
  • Project Management: Support the Creative Strategist and Art Director in the development of creative briefs, sourcing all required inputs for the team’s success at the outset of a project • Set the pace for the internal project workflow and keep the creative team on track • Ensure that work is executed against the approved scope and properly manage the expectations of internal and client teams • Be solutions-oriented and seek to understand the root of a problem in order to best troubleshoot and scenario plan.
  • Agility & Prioritization: Balance a large volume of client accounts with clear guardrails on tasks and activities • Exercise strong organizational and time management skills when managing the day to day priorities • Reshape project scopes based on production realities and client input and raise implications at the earliest notice
  • Casting & Resourcing: Have a strong understanding of the respective technical skills and strengths of the Creative Services team and manage resource allocations 
  • Financials: Monitor project burn on an ongoing basis, ensuring work is being executed within scope and properly managing the expectations of internal teams and clients • Maintain positive financial health across accounts and department-wide and support efforts to right-size at-risk scopes.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of overall experience in project management, handling a variety of project types
  • Strong knowledge of project management; Experience working with creative teams is a bonus but is not required
  • Proficiency in project management software (Wrike preferred) and Google Workspace (Slides, Sheets, Docs and Gmail) is required
  • Competent in planning and tracking, with the ability to capture details and summarize effectively for bridging across diverse, cross-functional internal teams
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to multitask, problem solve and prioritize under pressure
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills (both written and verbal), excellent presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to hold others accountable for delivery
  • Collaborative, Team Player. Ability to engage, interact, and collaborate with various groups or individuals
  • A growth mindset and positive attitude: proactive, hands-on, data-driven, experimentation-oriented and a disposition for continuous learning
