Investment Readiness & Strategic Support

  • Optimize financial reporting and metrics to align with investor and lender expectations
  • Support the development of investor materials, including forecasts and performance summaries
  • Partner with executive leadership on strategic initiatives, M&A exploration, and financial due diligence

  • Provide insights into divisional and project profitability, cash flow, and margin trends
  • Partner with business unit leaders to increase financial literacy and accountability

Team & Systems Leadership

  • Build and lead a growing finance and accounting team
  • Optimize existing systems or lead the implementation of new tools (e.g., ERP, FP&A platforms)
  • Standardize processes across previously siloed or informal workflows
  • Champion automation, efficiency, and data accuracy across all financial operations

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA required or strongly preferred)
  • 8–12+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience
  • Experience in a private equity-backed or growth-stage private company, ideally preparing for investment or M&A, is strongly preferred
  • Professional services, agency, or market research firm experience is a strong plus
  • Expert knowledge of GAAP, ASC 606, and project-based revenue models
  • Proven track record of building or rebuilding finance teams and systems in a growing organization
  • Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills
  • Proficiency in financial systems (preferably Microsoft Dynamics) and Excel

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience leading the transition from a flat to structured finance function
  • Comfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution
  • Effective working cross-functionally in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Ability to design and implement scalable processes that support long-term growth

What We Offer:

  • Competitive base salary: $180,000-$220,000 + variable compensation
  • Flexible vacation policy – take the time you need to recharge
  • Comprehensive health, vision & dental insurance
  • 401k with company contribution
