What's the role?

We are seeking a highly organized and execution-focused Contracts Specialist to support our Legal Department. This role is ideal for a professional who thrives in a high-volume, fast-paced environment and is comfortable leveraging contract lifecycle management (CLM) technology to drive efficiency, consistency, and speed in contracting processes.


Reporting to the Director, Legal, you will support the contract management process within the Legal Department and work alongside other stakeholders such as Sales and Finance.


Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, review and redline a range of SaaS contracts in accordance with established templates, processes, terms and company standards.
  • Review RFP documentation and prepare responses to legal/contract questions, where necessary
  • Prepare contract amendments, addendums and support account management process.
  • Perform administrative functions such as record contract in-take, storing and retrieving contracts and documenting contract exceptions.
  • Support rapid sales cycles by ensuring timely contract turnaround while maintaining appropriate risk controls.
  • Utilize CLM platforms and AI-enabled tools to streamline contract review, redlining, workflow management, and reporting 
  • Track contractual obligations, key commercial terms, renewal timelines, and compliance requirements 
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance scalability and operational efficiency within the Legal Department.

What you offer...

  • 2+ years of experience in contract management and commercial legal operations in B2B SaaS companies or technology companies.
  • Post-secondary legal training or education in Law
  • Demonstrated experience managing high-volume contracting in a fast-paced environment 
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills
  • Experience working with sales teams and multiple business units
  • Knowledge of Salesforce and DocuSign CLM is an asset
