About the Role

FareHarbor is looking for bright, positive, hard-working individuals to join the Connectivity Team in Denver. The Connectivity Team is responsible for helping our clients manage their API integrations with select Online Travel Agencies (OTA).

The ideal candidate for the Connectivity Specialist (External API)  position is an extremely detail-oriented and self-motivated problem solver, who is equally at ease learning technical software and at handling professional correspondence.

This role focuses on the technical aspects of FareHarbor’s API External API integration. Responsibilities include enabling new connections for clients, troubleshooting any errors, and corresponding with the OTA’s product teams on long term solutions for their systems and our mutual clients. In addition, this candidate should develop a comprehensive understanding of FareHarbor’s External API, to help support all our integrations and internal teams when applicable.

What you’ll do here:

Troubleshooting & Problem Solving: 

  • Become an expert on FareHarbor’s integrations and new features 
  • Initiate, maintain and troubleshoot technical integrations between clients and partners 
  • Devise long term solutions to reduce future API errors when possible
  • Act as a liaison between parties to research, solve and communicate complex and highly technical concepts in an easy to understand way
  • Have an understanding of back-end management 

Communication:

  • Answer inbound requests from clients and partners in a timely and professional manner
  • Educate clients on API best practices 
  • Collaborate with all members of the Connectivity Team, Strategic Partnerships Team, and Channel Specialist Team

Prioritization

  • Prioritize and complete inbound tasks in a timely manner
  • Comfortable prioritizing tasks that require urgent attention and/or have been escalated internally
  • Proactively and independently plan your day-to-day tasks and responsibilities

Requirements:

  • 4 Year College Degree
  • Be very precise, detail-oriented and able to multitask 
  • Have a natural sense of urgency and a “whatever it takes” attitude
  • Think independently and collaborate with a team
  • Possess outstanding written and oral communication skills, and a high level of maturity
  • Be a good Mental Athlete: Possess an analytical mind

Salary Range: $41,200-$61,800, plus 10% bonus potential
