The Role
We are looking for a Marketing Communications Specialist to join our team in Denver. The Communications Specialist supports the execution of Riot Platforms’ internal communications, ensuring employees receive clear, timely, and consistent information aligned to company priorities and enterprise cadence. This role is ideal for a strong writer and communicator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants hands-on experience shaping internal storytelling, leadership updates, and company-wide communications.
Operating within established messaging standards and governance, the Corporate Communications Specialist helps translate complex initiatives into accessible, employee-facing communications that reinforce clarity, alignment, and trust across the organization.
What You'll Do
- Draft and edit internal communications, including company updates, announcements, newsletters, intranet content, and leadership messaging.
- Support internal communications planning and execution aligned to enterprise cadence and key company moments.
- Help maintain internal messaging libraries, brand voice guidelines, and editorial calendars.
- Coordinate cross functionally to gather information and ensure messaging accuracy.
- Monitor media coverage and social sentiment; compile insights and reports.
- Assist with internal event communications, announcements, and executive presentations.
- Ensure consistency, clarity, and quality across all communications outputs.
What You'll Bring
- 2-3 years of experience in communications, marketing, journalism, or related fields.
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
- Highly organized with strong project management capabilities.
- Ability to translate complex topics into clear, engaging content.
- Collaborative mindset and eagerness to learn in a growing organization.
- Experience in technology or infrastructure environments a plus but not required.
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive Salary: Base salary range $75,000 - $90,000 (commensurate with experience) + sign-on equity grant + bonus.
