Build and own Riot’s governance program, including the ISO 27001:2022 documentation framework, enterprise policy library, regulatory horizon scanning, contracts management, third-party risk management, and framework mappings across SOC 2, SOX, NIST CSF, and applicable regulations. The role drives policy adoption, attestation, vendor due diligence, contract risk workflows, and alignment of site-level operational, physical security, and environmental policies.

Leads technical pre-sales and solution design for hyperscale and enterprise data center customers. Translates customer requirements into scalable infrastructure solutions, proposals, cost estimates, bills of materials, and scopes of work. Partners with Sales, Operations, Design, Construction, Finance, suppliers, and clients to ensure deliverable commitments. Establishes solution engineering processes, supports RFP responses and business reviews, and represents Riot at customer sites and industry events.

Leads Riot’s enterprise Identity and Access Management program across corporate, cloud, data center, and operational environments. Responsibilities include IAM strategy, Microsoft Entra ID architecture, privileged access management, identity governance, least-privilege models, non-human identity controls, third-party access, automation, compliance, security monitoring, metrics, and leadership of IAM engineers and partners.

Designs, implements, and operates enterprise IAM solutions across Entra ID, Active Directory, cloud, SaaS, and data centers. Manages SSO, MFA, PAM, PIM, RBAC, identity governance, lifecycle controls, provisioning automation, third-party access, and non-human identities. Troubleshoots authentication and federation issues, supports identity-threat investigations, maintains technical documentation, and contributes to audit and compliance activities.

Leads public-policy and community-engagement strategy for development opportunities, assessing sites, navigating approvals, monitoring legislation, and building relationships with officials, regulators, utilities, and communities. Represents the company at hearings and forums, prepares policy and stakeholder materials, advises internal teams, coordinates external advisors, supports digital engagement, and mentors junior staff. The U.S.-based role requires frequent travel to project sites and communities.

Supports Riot’s public-policy and community-engagement efforts by researching prospective sites, monitoring government and political developments, identifying stakeholder risks, preparing briefing and external-affairs materials, and assisting with government, community, and public-hearing engagement. The role partners across development, operations, energy, legal, communications, and executive teams, while tracking policy issues and supporting evolving projects. Travel to communities and project sites is required.

Lead go-to-market strategy and strategic sales for AI and Neocloud accounts. Build executive relationships with hyperscale cloud and data-center customers, manage complex negotiations and long-term agreements, develop ecosystem partnerships, maintain forecasts and pipeline visibility, and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver infrastructure solutions at scale.

Leads hyperscale sales strategy, executive customer relationships, complex commercial negotiations, pipeline forecasting, and ecosystem partnerships. The role targets cloud providers, data-center operators, and infrastructure customers, coordinating with product, engineering, operations, finance, legal, and customer-success teams to secure high-value, long-term engagements. It also influences product strategy through market intelligence and represents the company at executive meetings and industry events.

Owns Riot’s risk management and GRC execution, including SOC 1 and SOC 2 audits, ISO 27001 certification readiness, SOX ITGC coordination, enterprise risk registers, KRI/KPI reporting, POA&M remediation, auditor relationships, and continuous audit readiness. The role partners with executives, Internal Audit, external auditors, mining sites, and data center leadership to identify, quantify, report, and remediate operational and technology risks.

Leads global category strategy, strategic sourcing, supplier development, negotiations, and supply-chain resilience for data center cooling and mechanical infrastructure. Manages substantial spend across chillers, CRAHs, AHUs, liquid cooling, and containment systems. Partners with engineering, operations, and construction teams to align technology roadmaps, secure capacity, optimize total cost, mitigate risks, and support global data center deployment. Monitors commodity markets, refrigerant regulations, supplier capacity, and geopolitical constraints while managing executive-level OEM relationships.

Leads global category strategy, strategic sourcing, supplier development, and supply-chain resilience for data center electrical infrastructure. Manages major HV, MV, and LV equipment spend; negotiates capacity reservations and complex commercial agreements; develops Tier-1 supplier relationships; mitigates long-lead and single-source risks; and aligns electrical equipment strategies with engineering, utilities, construction, grid requirements, and AI-driven data center expansion.

Owns the operating model connecting data center asset activity in Nuvolo with fixed asset records in NetSuite. Designs processes, data standards, workflows, integrations, controls, reconciliations, reporting, and exception management. Partners with asset management, accounting, IT, and system owners to ensure asset additions, replacements, transfers, retirements, disposals, and maintenance events are properly documented and routed for accounting review.

Own the portfolio-wide vendor relationship and performance management program for critical maintenance and repair vendors. Establish governance, scorecards, KPIs, qualification standards, approved vendor lists, feedback processes, corrective actions, contract renewal tracking, and audit-ready records. Partner with site teams and maintenance strategy leaders to ensure vendor coverage, compliance, performance, and alignment with equipment strategies. The role is remote or hybrid and requires regular travel to Riot sites.

Provides employment-law support across people operations, workplace policies, employment agreements, employee relations, investigations, disputes, and legal processes. Advises internal stakeholders, drafts and negotiates employment documentation, coordinates with outside counsel, supports policy development and enforcement, and contributes to workplace culture initiatives. Requires a JD, active U.S. state bar membership, and at least three years of relevant employment law experience.

Lead Riot's multi-discipline data center engineering organization (mechanical, electrical, controls), set technical standards and QA/QC, approve designs at key milestones, oversee consultants and vendors, develop engineering talent, and represent engineering in cross-functional and executive decision-making.
