Are you a collaborative and creative communicator with strong writing and project management skills? Wayfair is looking for a Communications Associate to join our Global Sales Communications and Employee Engagement team.

In this role, you’ll craft concise, compelling content that keeps employees informed, aligned, and inspired. You’ll support critical internal communications and play a key role in fostering a positive employee experience through engagement and recognition programs. Collaborating cross-functionally, you’ll ensure strategic alignment and consistent messaging across channels. 

This position offers the chance to work hands-on with the global sales organization, develop innovative multi-channel communications, and lead high-impact initiatives that drive transparency, motivation, and culture.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive cross-functional collaboration to align and execute campaign and communication strategies, ensuring consistent messaging across internal channels
  • Develop and implement targeted internal communication plans that support workflows, sales initiatives, and broader business objectives
  • Manage the end-to-end production and distribution of sales newsletters, delivering essential weekly updates to employees
  • Craft engaging, audience-tailored content for diverse channels—including email, video, presentations, newsletters, Slack, and events—to maximize reach and impact
  • Innovate and leverage new communication mediums to enhance messaging effectiveness and employee engagement
  • Support rollout and adoption of key initiatives, ensuring clarity and team readiness
  • Support the planning and execution of town hall meetings, team leadership summits etc
  • Champion employee recognition programs in partnership with Employee Engagement, introducing creative solutions to enhance culture
  • Monitor sales and technology trends to inform and refine communication strategies
  • Analyze channel performance metrics (adoption rates, read/click-through rates) and track KPIs to measure impact and identify opportunities for continuous improvement

Qualifications: 

  • A Bachelor's degree, preferably in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or Marketing Communications (not required)
  • An interest in corporate communications, business, or sales operations; preferably with experience
  • Proactive self-starter who takes initiative and works independently in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to work effectively within a team, demonstrating coordination, communication, and problem-solving contribution
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask effectively while ensuring deadlines are met
  • Keen attention to detail and ability to prioritize assignments and deliverables efficiently
  • Video creation expertise is a plus
  • Willingness to travel to support in-person meetings and events

The salary range for this position is $64,000 - $70,000 per year. The base salary offered may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
