What We Do:
Cybercrime is growing, and more businesses are getting hit by threats that used to target only the biggest organizations. That pushes defenders like us to operate at the highest level, and it deepens our need for good people who want to make a meaningful impact.
Founded in 2015 by former NSA cyber operators, Huntress is a remote-first team working to make enterprise-grade cybersecurity accessible to businesses of all sizes. We work closely with security teams and service providers protecting complex environments, often without the time or headcount to handle it all. That’s why we build our technology in-house and back it with a 24/7 human-led Security Operations Center (SOC). As a result, our platform is never disconnected from the experts who manage it, ensuring our customers' protection.
Huntress now secures more than 5M endpoints and 11M identities worldwide. Those numbers keep growing because more businesses rely on us to help carry the load and operate with more confidence. Every day, you can see that commitment in how we stand with our customers and how we show up for each other.
What You’ll Do:
You are the kind of person who cares about getting the details right because you know commissions work is not just a back-office process. It is trust, accuracy, and follow-through in action. In this role, you will help keep commission operations running smoothly by administering core processes in CaptivateIQ, investigating questions with care, and supporting payroll and close activities that people count on.
You are outcome-obsessed when deadlines hit and accuracy matters most. You give a $h*t by digging into issues, following them through, and helping people get clear answers instead of passing the problem along. You lead with candor, communicating clearly across teams, time zones, and stakeholders when something needs explanation, escalation, or correction.
Responsibilities:
- Administer day-to-day commission operations in CaptivateIQ, including maintaining workflows, supporting updates, and helping ensure plans and payouts are processed accurately.
- Investigate and respond to commission inquiries from internal stakeholders with clear, timely, and well-documented follow-through.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc commission calculations, validations, and reconciliations for both US and international payroll submissions.
- Assist with month-end and quarter-end close activities related to sales incentive compensation, including reporting, accrual support, and issue resolution.
- Perform manual commission calculations and audit checks when needed to validate system output, resolve exceptions, or support special payout scenarios.
- Partner across FP&A, Sales, Payroll, and business stakeholders to improve process clarity, reduce errors, and keep commission operations moving.
What You Bring To The Team:
- You have 4+ years of experience working in sales incentive compensation, commissions operations, or a closely related finance function.
- You have experience with enterprise-level platforms such as CaptivateIQ, Xactly, Salesforce, or similar systems, and CaptivateIQ experience is preferred.
- You can manually calculate commissions and use that skill to validate payouts, investigate discrepancies, and support audit-ready accuracy.
- You communicate effectively in a remote work environment and can collaborate across global time zones without losing clarity or momentum.
- You stay adaptable when priorities shift, deadlines tighten, or commission questions require fast but thoughtful follow-through.
- You are willing to attend training, stay current on platform changes, and keep building your knowledge of CaptivateIQ and related tools.
- You use AI tools responsibly to speed up research, modeling, and drafting routine correspondence such as SPIFF payout communications, while keeping judgment and accountability firmly in your hands.
What We Offer:
- 100% remote work environment - since our founding in 2015
- Generous paid time off policy, including vacation, sick time, and paid holidays
- 12 weeks of paid parental leave
- Highly competitive and comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits plans
