Are you a multi-skilled individual that can work independently to provide quality health care to patients? Do you enjoy working collaboratively with providers and other nursing staff? If you are a Certified Medical Assistant or currently working on obtaining your Medical Assistant certification, we would love for you to apply for our full-time Certified Medical Assistant position that will provide assistance in the Monte Vista Clinic.

Medical Assistant Wage Range: $16.17 - $21.81 / hour

Certified Medical Assistant Wage Range: $17.22 - $24.04 / hour

What You'll Need:

  • Graduation within 12 months of hire from an accredited Medical Assistant Program.
  • BLS required.
  • Prior medical reception and/or clinical experience and familiarity with medical terminology preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills

What You'll Do:

  • Assist with clerical duties such as answering phones and greeting patients.
  • Update and maintain patient files and medical records
  • Schedule appointments and manage provider schedules
  • Take vitals, explain treatment procedures, collect and prepare lab specimens
  • Authorize prescription refills and manage prescriptions with pharmacies
  • Sterilize medical equipment and maintain a clean working space
