Full-time Operating Room Registered Nurse responsible for coordinating safe, high-quality surgical patient care, monitoring assigned staff, supporting surgical procedures, documenting patient conditions and reactions, notifying physicians of significant changes, and ensuring compliance with nursing standards and regulations. The role collaborates with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to resolve operational needs and supports patient satisfaction, clinical performance, and cost outcomes.

Performs CT and radiologic imaging procedures using prescribed techniques, prepares patients and equipment, applies radiation-safety practices, conducts quality-control tasks, and performs equipment testing and maintenance. Duties also include room and equipment cleaning, call assignments, patient scheduling, phone coverage, filing, and preparing contrast materials and immobilization devices.

Provides strategic and operational leadership for ambulatory and clinic services. Improves access, clinic operations, productivity, financial performance, patient experience, provider engagement, and quality. Partners with physicians, advanced practice providers, and the Chief Medical Officer; uses performance data to drive improvement, develops clinic leaders, strengthens accountability, and leads organizational change in a rural healthcare environment.

Provides PRN float nursing care across assigned hospital units. Assesses and triages patient needs, initiates appropriate nursing treatments, maintains nursing standards, monitors patient conditions, and reports symptoms to treating providers. Nurses schedule themselves for open shifts and must fulfill staffing commitments for at least three published schedules.

Provides emergency department nursing care, including triage, patient assessment, treatment planning, medication administration, invasive procedure assistance, documentation, monitoring, and communication of patient conditions to medical staff. Ensures patient comfort and safety while responding to emergencies according to nursing standards, hospital policies, procedures, and protocols.

Responds to emergency and non-emergency calls, operates an ambulance, assesses illness or injury, provides first aid and patient care within EMT-B scope, assists emergency department staff, maintains medical and communication equipment, replenishes supplies, and maintains current Colorado certification.

Provides emergency department support by assisting with patient intake, orders, documentation, vital signs, specimen collection, wound care, monitoring, transport, discharge, stocking, and room cleanup. Communicates patient conditions and physician-directed medications or procedures to clinical staff. Cross-trains as a unit secretary and performs registration, chart management, charge documentation, and order-processing duties.

Provides infusion nursing care to patients, including assessing conditions, administering medications and chemotherapy, assisting physicians, monitoring reactions, documenting care, ensuring patient safety, and participating in quality improvement activities.

Provides clerical and clinical support in a medical clinic, including greeting patients, answering phones, maintaining medical records, scheduling appointments, taking vital signs, explaining procedures, handling lab specimens and prescription refills, sterilizing equipment, and maintaining a clean workspace. Collaborates with providers and nursing staff to deliver quality patient care.

Supports imaging services by greeting patients and visitors, transporting patients, verifying radiology orders against examinations and sides, routing report addendums, monitoring mail and fax logs, and assisting with scheduling and telephone duties. Provides courteous customer service to patients, medical staff, coworkers, and guests while serving as the Imaging Services secretary when needed.

Provides second-level technical support for infrastructure, end-user devices, applications, systems, networking, security, and service management. Resolves moderately complex incidents, supports customer needs, leads help desk efforts, and implements small technology projects and service improvements. Trains first-level support teams, analyzes issue trends, contributes to metrics reporting, advocates for customers, and collaborates with internal teams to prevent recurring problems and minimize customer impact.

Provides nursing care to OB patients, including triage, assessment, treatment planning, medication administration, invasive procedure assistance, monitoring, documentation, and communication with physicians. Ensures patient comfort, safety, and adherence to nursing standards, policies, and protocols. Evaluates patient responses and reports significant conditions or treatment reactions to medical staff.

Provides nursing care to ICU/CCU patients, including assessment, triage, treatment planning, medication administration, invasive procedure assistance, monitoring, documentation, and communication with physicians and medical staff. The RN maintains patient comfort and safety, responds according to nursing protocols, and evaluates care against hospital standards.

Provides emergency nursing care in a rural critical access hospital. Responsibilities include triage, rapid assessment, trauma and critical-care stabilization, emergency procedures, medication and IV administration, patient monitoring, documentation, care coordination, transfers, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. The RN supports trauma readiness, quality improvement, patient safety, and evidence-based practice while caring for patients across the lifespan, including pediatric, adult, geriatric, behavioral health, stroke, sepsis, and cardiac emergency cases.

Provides direct nursing care to Med/Surg patients by assessing and triaging needs, administering medications and treatments, assisting with procedures, monitoring patient conditions, documenting assessments, ensuring comfort and safety, and communicating significant changes to physicians and medical staff.
