We are looking for a Cloud Partner Sales Manager to own and scale Coder's revenue engine with AWS across our Public Sector and Eastern region business. AWS is one of Coder's most strategic partner relationships. This is a build role: we are systematizing and automating the reactive mechanics of co-sell so the team spends its time on what actually moves pipeline - proactive account mapping, executive relationship building, and joint programs with AWS sellers and solution architects.

You will be measured on the AWS-sourced and AWS-influenced pipeline you create, not just the deals that land on your desk. Day to day, that means building account plans before opportunities appear, running a cadence of programs that create lasting AWS champions, and putting the tactical co-sell workflow on autopilot.

What you’ll do here

  • Build proactive account maps and territory plans with AWS across Public Sector (Fed/SLED) and Eastern region accounts, identifying target accounts before they hit our pipeline

  • Cultivate executive and field relationships with AWS public sector and Eastern region account managers, solution architects, and partner leadership so Coder is the default recommendation in relevant conversations

  • Design and run joint programs - QBRs, enablement, co-marketing - that build durable AWS champions, not one-off introductions

  • Help us automate and streamline the reactive side of co-sell (opportunity logging, ACE submission and validation, deal tracking) so time shifts from admin to relationship-building and pipeline creation

  • Own AWS-sourced and AWS-influenced pipeline as a core metric, and translate program health into Coder’s regional revenue plan

  • Prep Coder account teams ahead of AWS calls and represent Coder in ACE validation and partner reviews

What we’re looking for

  • 5+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, or channel sales, with a track record of building programs rather than just working leads a partner hands you

  • Experience designing scalable, repeatable partner processes - playbooks, automation, tooling - that cut down manual and reactive work

  • Hands-on experience with AWS specifically: account managers, solution architects, ACE, Marketplace, and co-sell motions

  • Comfort operating across both Public Sector (Fed/SLED) and commercial sales motions, including the longer procurement cycles and compliance requirements that come with government accounts

  • A track record of proactively generating pipeline through partner relationships, not just accepting inbound referrals

  • Strong program-management instincts - able to design and run a cadence (QBRs, joint planning, enablement) that partners actually show up for

  • Understanding of complex sales processes; ability to build consensus and relationships at multiple levels within a partner organization

  • Strong work ethic and the ability to move fast in a startup environment

  • A player/coach mentality: coachable, and able to coach others

Bonus tacos if you have

  • (Tacos? If you need an ice-breaker, ask how we say thanks by giving tacos!)

  • Experience at a Developer Tooling, DevOps, or cloud infrastructure software provider

  • A successful track record with growth-stage startups

  • Experience inside AWS as a PSM or other role

  • Familiarity with AWS Marketplace, ACE, or co-sell/private offer motions

Our use of AI in hiring

We use AI tools to help manage our recruitment process efficiently and fairly. Specifically:

  • Ashby helps us review inbound applications by surfacing candidates who best match the role requirements we've defined. This tool does not make hiring decisions; it helps our team prioritize which applications to review first.

  • Granola takes notes during our interview calls so our team can focus on the conversation with you.

All hiring decisions are made by humans. Our team reviews applications, conducts interviews, and makes final selections. AI tools assist us but never replace human judgment, and these practices are conducted in compliance with applicable data protection, AI governance, and labor laws. Your data is not used to train AI models.

In accordance with New York City Local Law 144, an independent bias audit has been conducted on "Automated Employment Decision Tools"; results are available for Ashby.

If you're applying for a role at Coder and have questions about how we use AI in our process, or if you'd like to request information about the data we collect, please contact [email protected].
