About the roleAs a CloudOps Engineer at Bloom Growth, you'll help build, automate, and optimize the cloud infrastructure that powers our platform and enables a reliable experience for our customers. You'll partner closely with Engineering and Product to automate cloud operations, improve system reliability, and support secure, scalable production environments. Your work will directly impact platform performance, operational efficiency, and the experience of our customers.
What you'll do
- Manage and optimize our AWS cloud infrastructure for reliability, scalability, and performance
- Automate cloud deployments, infrastructure management, and operational workflows to improve reliability and efficiency
- Monitor production environments and proactively improve system performance, uptime, and alerting
- Apply cloud security best practices and support a secure, compliant infrastructure
- Troubleshoot production issues and resolve cloud-related incidents within service level agreements (SLAs)
- Partner with Engineering and Product to improve cloud architecture, deployments, and operational processes
- Evaluate new cloud technologies and recommend improvements that enhance performance and scalability
Qualifications
Required:- 3+ years of experience in cloud operations, infrastructure engineering, or a related role
- Experience managing cloud platforms such as AWS (preferred), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar
- Experience with cloud monitoring, alerting, and performance optimization
- Experience troubleshooting production systems and supporting highly available applications
- Knowledge of cloud security best practices and scripting for automation
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote environment
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with CI/CD (Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment) pipelines and DevOps practices
- Experience with serverless architectures
- Experience supporting SaaS applications
- AWS or other cloud platform certifications
The expected base salary range for this role is $85,000–$130,000 USD, depending on experience, skills, qualifications, and geographic location. Bloom Growth™ follows an equitable, market-aligned compensation philosophy to ensure fairness and consistency across our fully remote team.
