Responsibilities
  • Provide Tier I/II system administration and help desk support for classified and mission systems, including troubleshooting hardware, software, account access, and connectivity issues.
  • Install, configure, maintain, and update servers, workstations, operating systems, and mission applications in accordance with Government security and operational requirements.
  • Respond to user requests through phone, email, portal, and walk-in support, ensuring timely resolution, accurate ticket tracking, and strong customer service.
  • Monitor system health, performance, backups, and availability; identify issues proactively and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and mission impact.
  • Maintain and update technical documentation, SOPs, system inventories, audit logs, and configuration records to support continuity, compliance, and operational readiness.
  • Support cybersecurity and compliance activities by applying patches, assisting with vulnerability remediation, following RMF/JSIG/ATO procedures, and escalating security incidents as required.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and 5-7 years of related experience
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Security+/A+/Net+ certification
  • U.S. Citizenship Required for the purposes of obtaining/holding a U.S. security clearance
Pay Transparency StatementAMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $93,900.00/Yr. - USD $156,800.00/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
