Here’s What We Are Looking For:  

Delve Deeper is looking for an experienced Digital Marketing Client Leader to oversee a performance marketing team dedicated to our education client vertical. This role is a dynamic blend of strategy, leadership, and expertise in the charity sector, with a focus on driving exceptional client results while ensuring exceptional team engagement.

You will leverage your knowledge of education trends and market insights to craft data-driven strategies that align with client goals, translating high-level objectives into actionable KPIs across media, technology, and data

As client leader, you’ll oversee campaign planning, execution, and performance analysis, ensuring alignment with business outcomes while championing innovation and accountability. You’ll also manage client relationships, mitigate risks, and identify growth opportunities, all while maintaining profitability and fostering a collaborative team culture. 

With a strong foundation in digital marketing and a commitment to thought leadership, you’ll contribute to evolving Delve Deeper’s services while showcasing the agency’s exceptional value.

This is a hybrid role based out of our Louisville, Colorado office. We work in-office Tuesday through Thursday, with the flexibility to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays. We are currently only considering candidates based locally or those willing to relocate within 3 months of hire.

Here’s What You Will Do:

1. Education Sector Expertise

  • Stay updated on education industry trends to identify opportunities and risks for your client portfolio.
  • Collaborate with the Charity Sector Leader to share insights and maintain a list of client pain points.
  • Monitor industry benchmarks and provide recommendations to senior management based on market analysis.

2. Campaign Planning

  • Collaborate with the Sector Leader to break business goals into specific KPIs (e.g., “hit KPI targets such as Student Acquisition, Enrollment rates”).
  • Translate KPIs into actionable roadmaps across Brand Media, Performance Media, Data, and student experience
  • Lead media planning, ensuring alignment of platform-specific KPIs with the overall strategy.
  • Assign KPIs to workstream teams and ensure media plans are on track.

3. Execution

  • Regularly review and adjust client KPIs, escalating issues when necessary.
  • Own client goals internally, ensuring teams stay accountable for KPIs and performance.
  • Lead internal strategy sessions, focusing on innovative approaches to improve results.
  • Conduct weekly client calls, providing progress updates and connecting results to business goals.
  • Compare performance to industry benchmarks to highlight Delve Deeper’s value.

4. Campaign Wrap-up

  • Lead QBRs to review goals, workstream performance, and next steps.
  • Identify new opportunities for improvement and involve Practice Area leaders as needed.
  • Spot potential upsell opportunities and collaborate with the Revenue Sector leader to expand the scope.

5. Relationship Management

  • Serve as the point of escalation for client issues, managing client satisfaction and account-level risks.
  • Develop recovery plans for dissatisfied clients and expand relationships within the client’s leadership team.


6. Staffing & Team Management

  • Work with the Revenue Ops team to determine staffing needs, ensuring the right team members are assigned to each account.
  • Manage a team of Integration Specialists and Strategists, overseeing hiring, development, and employee lifecycle.

7. Profitability

  • Monitor the profitability of your assigned accounts, ensuring projects stay on budget and team members are fully utilized (85%).
  • Use Delve Deeper’s X-Fit system to manage project margins and ensure optimal resource allocation.

8. Digital Marketing Expertise

  • Stay current with digital marketing trends and maintain relevant certifications.
  • Be a thought leader in the industry, contributing to content and representing Delve Deeper at conferences.
  • Work with the Head of Strategy to evolve Delve Deeper’s Menu of Services.

9. Special Skills

  • Develop impactful QBR decks that connect client results to Delve Deeper’s value proposition.
  • Contribute to RFPs, leading strategy presentations for both existing and prospective clients.

Here’s What You Bring: 

  • 10+ years of experience in digital marketing, campaign management, or strategy in the education sector, with at least 3–5 years focused on online colleges or fully online degree programs.
  • 7 years of experience within an agency environment
  • Proven success in developing and executing enrollment-focused campaigns that drive high-quality leads and convert prospective students into enrollments.
  • Deep understanding of online college student personas, including adult learners, working professionals, career changers, and underserved populations.
  • Hands on experience with paid media strategy and execution (Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, programmatic display, YouTube)
  • General knowledge of SEO and conversion rate optimization (CRO) across landing pages, application portals, and program pages 
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze marketing and enrollment data, track conversion rates by source/channel, and optimize campaigns based on performance insights.
  • Experience managing enrollment marketing budgets and reallocating spend based on real-time performance metrics.
  • Knowledge of compliance and advertising guidelines for online colleges, including Title IV, gainful employment disclosures, and accreditation standards.
  • Familiarity with seasonality trends, industry standards, and bench marks for admissions during the peak enrollment periods
  • Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams and managing large, complex accounts with a strategic mindset.
  • Proven ability to upsell accounts by at least 15% YoY by identifying expansion opportunities, leveraging client relationships, and aligning Delve Deeper’s services with evolving client needs.
  • Able to identify and solve client challenges, providing solutions that align with their business goals and Delve Deeper’s capabilities. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.

The base salary range for this position is $150,000 - $180,000 per year. In addition, you will be eligible for an annual performance-based bonus tied to individual and company-wide goals and objectives. This bonus structure is designed to reward exceptional performance and contributions toward Delve Deeper’s overall success.
