Our social media team continues to grow and we're seeking a Senior Associate to join our team to support platform strategy, social listening and insights for Chase's social media channels.
As a Chase Social Media Platform Strategy Senior Associate sitting on the Chase Social Media team, you will have a specific emphasis on leading organic social platform strategy, leading social media listening projects to gather consumer and product/experience insights for partners, and compiling data-backed insights to inform editorial and content strategy. In addition, you will dive into data, posses strong storytelling skills to translate research and performance into strategic insights, and have a thorough knowledge of industry reporting and listening tools. You will report to Chase's Social Media Platform Strategy & Insights lead, you will be able to help influence channel strategy and growth opportunities, as well as innovate on and expand the impact of the Insights team's research, working across multiple partner teams to deliver strategic content recommendations and listening insights.

Job responsibilities:
- Monitor both emerging platform trends and technology, and craft platform-specific strategies based on audience behavior, social network capabilities and business objectives
- Build social listening Boolean queries and customized dashboards to identify consumer and product insights, cultural moments and competitive opportunities; translate the insights into actionable strategies for our team and partners
- Lead research, source and analyze insights from a variety of internal and external sources to inform content strategy on a quarterly basis
- Explore how to leverage AI and other new social technology capabilities to enhance insights and workflows
- Deliver organic social media content performance reporting and analysis around content and campaigns as needed
- Champion a mindset of testing and learning to continuously innovate and prove what's working
- Communicate recommendations and insights to team members, partners and senior leadership through either written reports or presentations
- Support team members on various projects and campaigns, effectively communicating timelines, status and results
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- 5+ years of relevant experience in social media strategy, listening, monitoring, analytics/measurement and competitive research
- Ability to translate consumer voices from social listening and various research sources (ex: consumer research, social platform news, other marketing channels) into actionable insights to inform strategic business objectives and decisions; Deep understanding of Boolean queries for optimizing social listening
- Background in social media measurement and analytics and building performance dashboards to evaluate business performance
- Thorough knowledge of industry social media monitoring and management tools for social listening, publishing, competitive benchmarking and reporting: building dashboards, queries, categories and tags (e.g. Sprinklr, Khoros, Brandwatch, Tableau, native social analytics, Adobe Analytics, etc.). Proficiency in Microsoft Office, e.g. Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong writing and storytelling skills with the ability to translate complex concepts into simple, powerful narratives to consumers and partners; excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize high volume, high priority initiatives
- Ability to problem-solve and think critically, provide attention to detail and bring data curiosity
- A passion for keeping up to speed on the evolving social media landscape and how the brand can innovate and approach the strategy for each unique channel
- Effectively communicate on project timelines, status and results, have executive presence and public speaking capability
- Team player with enthusiastic attitude and entrepreneurial spirit. Eager to learn, have fun, contribute and make an impact
- Confidence to pitch fresh ideas, think creatively, and identify problems to solve
