What Will You Be Doing?

This position will play a key role in promoting and selling public and private charters. Reporting to the Sr. Manager for Charter and Group Sales, this individual will serve as a key Frontier liaison with charter brokers and individual partners with responsibility for building long-term and constructive relationships within the broker community.  This role will also play a critical role within Frontier as a liaison between network planning and the charter operations organization as well as working constructively with SOC and crew planning.    This role is essential to new business development as well as fulfilling a role in pricing/ budgeting/forecasting, customer service, and operations. This position will work with multiple departments to ensure the seamless contracting and execution of charter flights, while adhering to DOT/FAA regulations and company policies. The candidate will assist with the execution of the business plan for the division, which includes a focus on significantly growing charter sales, fleet optimization, explore automation initiatives, increased profitability and margins, and geographic destination expansion.

Essential Functions

  • Managing and supporting all aspects of charter development, including quoting, competitive analysis, contracting, booking, and scheduling of charter flights and associated operations.
  • Explore and develop an array of potentially lucrative relationships with charter brokers and or individual organizations to develop, grow, and optimize Frontier’s expansion into charter operations.
  • Work collaboratively with key internal stakeholders including Strategic Planning, Legal, Pricing and Revenue Management, and Operations to analyze, prioritize, and implement opportunities.
  • Guide the development of business strategies to increase profitability, optimize fleet utilization, and expand geographic scope.
  • Prepares and analyzes reports on charter operations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing new solutions and related services.
  • Develop tracking and reporting for select KPI’s and present quarterly financial/operational review to Senior management.
  • Maintain awareness of industry trends and key players; analysis to drive sales and improve approach and understanding of market dynamics.
  • Strategically expand or modify company charter products and services to innovate offerings over time and increase competitive position in marketplace.
  • Responsible for the development and facilitation of the annual budget, financial forecasts, and other business goals, and leadership of team to ensure budget goals are achieved
  • Assist with ensuring all charter operating policies conform to applicable DOT/FAA regulations and that all operations are conducted in accordance with those regulations.
  • Assists in coordinating with pilots, ground crew, and maintenance teams to ensure all flights are organized and handled in a safe, efficient, and professional manner in accordance with Frontier policies
  • Assist in coordinating aircraft handling to include arrangements for FBO notification, fuel, catering, hangar, aircraft cleaning, after-hours, or other services as needed.
  • Understands international operations and helps coordinate permits, handling, parking, airport slots, customs, and overflights.
  • Has a working knowledge of appropriate station operations and works closely with Airports and Operations teams to implement service agreement performance metrics (SLAs)
  • Assist with ensuring all flights are conducted safely and adhere to strict time schedules.
  • Promotes and fosters safety as a core value of the Company.

 Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business or related field.  Masters Degree Preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in airline management, planning, finance, revenue analysis similar areas
  • Strong knowledge of airline strategic planning, financial analysis, and/or operations.
  • Understanding of advanced analytical techniques utilizing python, SQL, R or similar analytics tools.
  • Strong knowledge of Excel for data manipulation and analysis
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to engage with multiple team members, direct reports, and/or contractors.
  • Ability to negotiate and manage contracts with multiple vendors and partners
  • Strong analytical and forecasting skills
  • Willing and able to travel as required.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Excellent verbal written and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Ability to communicate in a positive and effective manner with subordinates, peers and all levels of management
  • Leader who can work collaboratively with other departments, current customers as well as other prospective partners.
  • Must have excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Must pass annual Ground Security and Charter Security Screening Training
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision in a collaborative team environment
  • Must exercise sound business judgment and handle confidential information with sensitivity
  • Must be a team player with ability to work on several projects at a time
  • Familiarity with airline operations and regulatory environments.
  • Versatile and able to easily adapt to an ever-changing work landscape.
