Department OverviewReporting to Motorola Solution’s Area Sales Manager, the Channel Account Manager (CAM) - Professional Commercial Radio acts as a primary contact for all PCR solutions enablement initiatives with Motorola Solution’s Channel Partners in the assigned territory, proactively manages their relationships and deploys enablement actions and strategies in order to grow business and meet territory revenue goals.
Job Description
The Channel Account Manager (CAM) is responsible for developing relationships with PCR Partners and educating the Partners on PCR solutions. The CAM also should understand and articulate the value of how Motorola Solutions' can help them sell more and provide more value to their customers.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Collaborate with Motorola's product, marketing, and field sales teams to ensure the smooth rollout of promotions and business initiatives
Work with PCR Partners to ensure that their staff have taken the appropriate training to deploy Motorola PCR solutions successfully, initiate live product training demonstrations
Support Motorola’s PCR sales activities in the assigned territory by helping with creating and nurturing new enablement and marketing opportunities
Finding and developing new markets and determining the net need with end-users through channel partners and engage the Channel Sales Executives to close the opportunities
Support the territory leaders in establishing quarterly and annual sales objectives for the assigned Channel Partners in the territory
Track sales activities using lead and project tracking software databases
Collaborate with colleagues including Channel Sales Executives, Area Sales Manager(s), Inside Sales, and Sales Engineering
Utilize Motorola's proprietary resources and tools to implement effective sales enablement initiatives
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree with 4+ years of sales/public safety experience
2+ years of Partner/customer-interfacing experience
Strong technical acumen and ability to speak towards our products and solutions
Ability to accurately forecast revenue on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
Proven record of achievement in delivering sales results and developing collaborative relationships
Strong understanding of our go-to-market strategy and sales philosophy is required
Functional understanding of Microsoft and Google Apps, especially Excel/Sheets
Having an established client base in the assigned territory is a plus
Location & Travel Requirements:
Seeking candidates that reside in the region (WA, OR, ID, MT, AK, WY, CO, UT, AZ, NM, West TX, South NV)
Travel will be up to 50-75% of the time. This travel will be within the territory; air travel will be limited
Target Base Salary Range: $90,000 - $110,000 USD
Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.
