The position operates in a highly collaborative, matrixed environment, coordinating across GE Aerospace services, engineering, materials, and commercial teams and partnering with customers and MROs to drive readiness outcomes.
Role OverviewThe Canada T700/CT7 True Choice Defense Services Manager is accountable for delivering all contracted requirements and leading a cross-functional, matrixed team supporting T700 and CT7 engine repairs and services. This role is the primary point of contact in Canada for all military end-use T700/CT7 contractual interactions with GE Aerospace and is responsible for the customer’s overall experience and operational readiness outcomes.
In addition, this leader will oversee global Rotorcraft Entry-into-Service (EIS) efforts, supporting customers who are establishing new or expanding GE Aerospace-powered rotary-wing fleets. The role may also support other countries as business needs require.
Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Leadership: Own the customer interface for all military end-use T700/CT7 sustainment activities in Canada, including RFQs, contractual interactions, and overall customer experience. Program Governance: Lead recurring customer program reviews (status, program management, technical) to communicate fleet readiness, risks, and mitigation plans. Cross-Functional Integration: Coordinate execution across internal teams (CPM, FSRs, FSE, Repair Engineering, Materials/CAM, Sales, Services) and external partners to meet readiness and SQDC targets. MRO Performance Management: Manage MRO relationships and performance, including engine/component evaluations, repair proposals, and regular repair status reviews to drive on-time delivery. Proposal Development: Prepare and deliver engine and component repair proposals by consolidating technical, commercial, and schedule inputs from MROs and internal teams. Materials and Provisioning: Lead forecasting and provisioning planning with the customer and internal materials team to define provisioning requirements and support engine/component shop visits. Turnaround Time (TAT) Improvement: Drive TAT improvements by integrating forecasts, part demand, shipments, inventory, and MRO execution; resolve constraints and optimize material flow. Reporting and Accountability: Maintain clear reporting on engine and inventory status, KPIs, and contract deliverables (including CDRLs) to ensure transparency and accountability. Renewals and Commercial Execution: Lead renewal and commercial activities, including CRM opportunity management, cost build-ups, pricing, and proposal development within guidelines. Fleet Transitions and Growth: Support fleet transitions and growth (including T700 to CT7 sustainment) and develop EIS and True Choice Defense campaign packages for new or expanding fleets. Global EIS Leadership: Lead entry-into-service planning through proposal for new or expanding GE-powered rotary-wing fleets, including spares provisioning, support equipment, training, True Choice Defense solutions, and digital tools to achieve readiness objectives from day one.
Required Qualifications- Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university (or equivalent experience)
- Experience: 1–3 years of experience in Customer Management or Project Management
The base pay range for this position is $135,000.00 - 180,000.00 USD Annual .The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on June 10th, 2026
