We are seeking a friendly, professional, and customer-focused Call Center Representative to handle inbound and/or outbound customer calls. The Call Center Representative will assist customers with questions, account information, orders, billing, technical issues, complaints, and general service requests while providing a positive and efficient customer experience.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and listening skills, patience, problem-solving abilities, basic computer skills, and the ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Key Responsibilities
Answer incoming customer calls promptly and professionally.
Make outbound calls to customers when required.
Identify customer needs and provide accurate information and assistance.
Handle questions regarding products, services, accounts, orders, billing, and policies.
Resolve customer complaints and concerns using established procedures.
Research customer issues and determine appropriate solutions.
Process orders, payments, returns, cancellations, appointments, and service requests as needed.
Verify customer information and update account records.
Enter accurate information into customer service and call center systems.
Document each customer interaction and resolution.
Transfer or escalate calls to supervisors or specialized departments when necessary.
Follow up with customers regarding unresolved issues.
Maintain knowledge of company products, services, policies, and procedures.
Protect customer information and follow privacy and security requirements.
Meet established call quality, productivity, attendance, and customer satisfaction goals.
Follow call scripts, guidelines, and company procedures when applicable.
Maintain a professional, courteous, and helpful tone during every interaction.
Perform additional customer service and administrative duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous customer service, call center, retail, sales, or office experience preferred.
Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills.
Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
Ability to remain calm and professional with upset or difficult customers.
Basic computer and typing skills.
Ability to navigate multiple computer systems while speaking with customers.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to follow instructions, policies, and established procedures.
Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Professional and positive attitude.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous call center or contact center experience.
Experience with CRM or customer service software.
Experience working with phone, email, and live-chat support.
Experience handling high call volumes.
Experience with order processing, billing, payments, or account management.
Bilingual or multilingual communication skills.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.

Typical Daily Duties

A Call Center Representative may spend the workday:

Work Environment

Call Center Representatives generally work in a call center, office, or remote environment. The position may involve handling a high volume of calls throughout the day and using a computer, telephone, headset, and customer-management software simultaneously.

Representatives may be expected to follow scheduled breaks and shifts and maintain consistent performance throughout their scheduled work hours.
