As an intern on our team, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with enterprise-scale systems while learning from experienced professionals. You will contribute to real projects that impact our business and customers, working closely with team members to understand and support quote-to-cash systems, data analysis, and process improvement initiatives.
What you'll do
- Learn and support quote-to-cash systems and integrations, including systems that support ordering, subscriptions, billing, invoices, and payments
- Assist with data analysis by writing SQL queries to extract insights and support business reporting needs
- Participate in documentation efforts, helping maintain functional and technical specifications
- Shadow team members in responding to application alerts and production issues to understand operational processes
- Contribute to QA activities by helping write and execute test cases for project and product releases
- Support process improvement initiatives by documenting current workflows and identifying potential automation opportunities
- Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, product, and engineering teams on assigned projects
- Leverage AI tools and technologies to enhance productivity, automate repetitive tasks, and assist in data analysis
Examples of desirable skills, knowledge and experience
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
- Basic proficiency in SQL - ability to write SELECT statements, use JOINs, GROUP BY, and aggregate functions
- Foundational understanding of AI/ML concepts - familiarity with AI assistants, prompt engineering, or AI-powered tools (e.g., ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, or similar)
- Eagerness to leverage AI for data analysis, automation, and problem-solving
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Genuine curiosity and eagerness to learn new technologies, tools, and business processes
- Basic understanding of business processes (coursework in accounting, finance, or business systems is a plus)
- Exposure to any billing or subscription systems (even through coursework or personal projects)
- Experience with data visualization tools or spreadsheet analysis
- Familiarity with ERP concepts or enterprise software
- Personal projects or coursework involving database design or data analysis
- Experience building or fine-tuning AI/ML models, working with APIs, or using AI for automation
- Knowledge of Python or other scripting languages for data manipulation
- Previous internship experience in a technology or business environment
- How enterprise-scale billing and subscription systems operate
- Real-world application of SQL and data analysis in a business context
- How to apply AI tools effectively in an enterprise environment
- Cross-functional collaboration between engineering, product, and finance teams
