Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Business Operations Specialist to join the Product Development Business Operations team based out of Everett, Washington.
The PD Business Operations team is responsible for all aspects of running the Product Development business, on-behalf of the organization's VP/GM, and for ensuring program management discipline in early development. Position Responsibilities:
- Support Product Development and Business Operations Management System ensuring integration vertically and horizontally across Product Development and functions
- Establish and maintains the Product Development operating rhythm including architecture, facilitation, and weekly visibility.
- Integrate between functional support teams and Integrated Product Teams to address inter-dependences of various initiatives
- Develops reports, presentations, and communications for senior leadership.
- Coordinate and support Product Development leadership team with internal and external engagements
- Periodic reviews of the management system to ensure it effectively meets the needs of the business. Proactively anticipate evolving needs / changes in the business and identify areas for improvement, gather feedback from users, and implement updates and enhancements as needed. Ensure management system processes are documented & updates as needed.
- Assists in the interface with the executive team and the Business Operations network to keep both apprised of key issues, actions and upcoming events.
- Networks with other MIS Business Operation Specialists across the enterprise to share best practices.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 5+ years relevant experience with program management and best practices, ideally in management system & integration experience (MS&I).
- 5+ years leading integration across cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strong written/verbal communication skills and experience presenting to executive level leadership.
- Familiarity with formal change control or governance processes (e.g., Change Control Board, configuration/change management).
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor's degree in business, Industrial Engineering, General Management, Facilities, or a related field; advanced degree (MS, MBA) a plus.
- Familiarity with Boeing processes, standards, and site governance.
- Experience developing and integrating strategic projects, plans, and initiatives to meet business goals.
- Experience working across multiple programs and/or functions in a manufacturing environment.
- PMI certification (Project Management) and 5-10 years of MS&I/Communication planning experience, as well as a background in stakeholder engagement.
- Experience with Work statement Control, Work Movement, and other business operations related processes
- Familiarity with Program Management Best Practices (PMBP)
- Experience working in a dynamic work environment, to include managing multiple priorities
- Experience working on airplane programs, in a manufacturing environment and/or supporting the production system
- Understanding of the production system value stream, i.e., sales, engineering, supply
- chain, production, etc.
- Experience in one of the following: data system architecture; and translating business
