The Associate-Level Software Developer will be assigned to the Wire Information and Release System (WIRS) within the Electrical Engineering systems ecosystem.

Position Responsibilities
- Performs production support and operational analysis of online and batch systems.
- Performs the design, program, test, implementation, and documentation of computing applications and software
- Writes and compiles code based on documented design or designs application architecture that integrates application software and delivery subsystems
- Modifies or upgrades applications to maintain functionality and performance
- Identifies and resolves programming or application architecture problems
- Performs data exploration and repair as needed by constructing custom extracts and investigating issues at the data level
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 1+ years of programming experience with Java, C++, C#
- 1+ years of experience with Relational Databases such as SQL-Server, Oracle, Teradata
- 1+ years of experience with Configuration Control Tools such as GIT, Visual Source Safe, Clear Case
- 1+ years of experience Windows, Linux (Oracle 8+ and Red Hat 7+) Operating Systems
- 1+ years of experience with Documentation Tools such as Microsoft tools such as Word, Visio, and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent military experience
- Familiarity with DevOps/DevSecOps and CI/CD practices, methodologies and tooling
- Familiarity with Python, shell scripting or COBOL (read only)
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps (ADO) or Team Foundation Server (TFS), GitLab, GIT, IIS, Windows Server
- Familiarity with PCF (Pivotal Cloud Foundry)/Tanzu and/or exposure to Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, or Microsoft Azure; Cloud technologies and/or Cloud-native app and microservices
