As Business Operations Manager at Crusoe, you'll oversee critical projects, manage budgets, standardize processes, and ensure safety compliance in data center operations.

Crusoe is building the World’s Favorite AI-first Cloud infrastructure company. We’re pioneering vertically integrated,  purpose-built AI infrastructure solutions trusted by Fortune 500 companies to power their most advanced AI applications. Crusoe is redefining AI cloud infrastructure, with a mission to align the future of computing with the future of the climate. Our AI platform is recognized as the "gold standard" for reliability and performance. Our data centers are optimized for AI workloads and are powered by clean, renewable energy.

Be part of the AI revolution with sustainable technology at Crusoe. Here, you'll drive meaningful innovation, make a tangible impact, and join a team that’s setting the pace for responsible, transformative cloud infrastructure.

About the Role:

Crusoe’s data‑center program is scaling to build out multiple 1 GW+ campuses while simultaneously integrating an ambitious energy-first approach to datacenter development and preparing the platform for institutional‑grade diligence standards.

You will be the operational right hand to our SVP of Data Center Operations—driving the cadence, tooling, and commercial guard‑rails that let site superintendents build at warp speed without blowing the budget.

We run at “Crusoe‑speed”—fast, candid, and allergic to bureaucracy. You’ll thrive here if you:

  • Embrace ambiguity and turn complexity into Kanban.

  • Value humor and grit as much as Gantt charts.

  • Care more about objective truth than job titles.

  • Believe climate‑aligned, AI‑first infrastructure can—and should—be built like a Japanese watch: precise, beautiful, uncompromising.

What You’ll Be Working On:

  • Run the critical path – identify and drive mission critical meetings, deadlines, and initiatives

  • Operational command‑center for every build – unify cost, schedule, risk and quality data into weekly reporting; publish a weekly one‑pager to senior leadership team.

  • Codify how Crusoe builds – author playbooks, RACI/RAPID matrices, RCCA loops, and turnover packages so new campuses execute the same winning formula.

  • Budget + change‑order sheriff – partner with Finance to catch scope creep, value‑engineer solutions, and keep variance < 5 %.

  • Org-builder – diagnose talent gaps, architect the org chart, hire and coach high-leverage operators

  • Safety & compliance champion – ensure standards and obligations are baked into daily work plans

What You’ll Bring to the Team:

  • 6+ yrs working in operationally intensive industries, especially on mission‑critical EPC projects ≥ $250 M (hyperscale data centers, semi-conductor fabs, etc)

  • Familiarity with scheduling & cost‑control tools

  • Deep grasp of medium‑voltage gear, UPS, switchgear, and high‑density GPU loads—you can talk short‑circuit calcs and hot‑aisle containment in the same breath

  • Track record building process from scratch in a blitz‑scale environment (start‑ups, rapid‑growth, or IPO readiness a plus)

  • First‑principles thinker who writes board‑worthy memos and isn’t afraid to don PPE and walk a job site

  • BS in Engineering, Construction Mgmt, or similar; MBA a plus

Benefits:

  • In-office work schedule

  • Industry competitive pay

  • Restricted Stock Units in a fast growing, well-funded technology company

  • Health insurance package options that include HDHP and PPO, vision, and dental for you and your dependents

  • Employer contributions to HSA accounts

  • Paid Parental Leave

  • Paid life insurance, short-term and long-term disability

  • Teladoc

  • 401(k) with a 100% match up to 4% of salary

  • Generous paid time off and holiday schedule

  • Cell phone reimbursement

  • Tuition reimbursement

  • Subscription to the Calm app

  • MetLife Legal

  • Company paid Commuter FSA benefit of $200 per month

Compensation Range

Compensation will be paid in the range of $150,000 - $180,000. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers. Compensation to be determined by the applicants knowledge, education, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

Compensation Range: $150K - $180K
