Job Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:

  • Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, break down high-level information into details, and expand user requests from general ideas to highly defined requirements, project plans, and timelines
  • Interface with Manufacturing, Distribution, Retail Wireless/5G, and IHS business stakeholders to identify process improvement opportunities and define requirements needed for those improvements
  • Collaborate with Corporate IT teams to understand the architecture of the systems and lead improvement projects to streamline process and system flow to optimize operations time, increase operations productivity, and improve accuracy of results
  • Understand, define, and configure system rules within internal systems and applications to drive operational efficiency and productivity
  • Partner with Subject Matter Experts to define testing scope, create test cases, support test execution and coordinate post-production validation testing
  • Maintain detailed knowledge and expertise of assigned business processes, system flows, and customer relationships
  • Manage the completion of complex projects that are broad in nature by following general guidelines and using creativity and resourcefulness to meet established goals
  • Educate management on emerging technologies and assist in gauging the feasibility and risk/reward of new processes, functionalities, and/or applications
  • Maintains and applies expert knowledge of practices and procedures in area of expertise and maintains a broad knowledge of practices and procedures of other departments
  • Collaborate with current and/or prospective product customers to understand and anticipate their product requirements
  • Design, create, and maintain a product road map based on leadership's strategic plans and directions
  • Manage product backlog and prioritize based on changing priorities and requirements
  • Conduct in-depth research related to operational improvements within the DISH Manufacturing and Distribution centers and departments
  • Coordinate operations testing, create/execute the various test artifacts for integrated/regression testing
  • Drive process improvement initiatives and create support documentation for development teams
  • Analyze processes and procedures to make recommendations for continuous improvement
  • Responsible for preparing and delivering recommendations to facilitate changes in policies and procedures


Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, IT Systems, or equivalent combination of education and experience


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Expert level knowledge and experience with project management software such as Jira and Hive
  • Requires understanding of Lean Manufacturing
  • Requires superior communication and relationship building skills - presentation and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret data and reports to make assumptions based on data
  • Ability to write scope definitions, reports, and business correspondence
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, system users, and stakeholders
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form
  • Ability to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and/or AWS is preferred but not required
  • Experience with Oracle, Warehouse Management systems (Manhattan SCALE) is preferred but not required
  • Familiarity working with Engineering, Transportation Logistics, Supply Chain Management, and Manufacturing teams is preferred


Salary Ranges
Compensation: $71,000.00/Year - $90,000.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
